I've been listenning to Ulver for a little while
Bergtat and Nattens Madrigal are the two albums that I checked out already?

In my opinion Bergtat is a quite interresting album, but I heard that they made some avantgarde stuff and I'd like to get your thoughts on their newest stuff guys.

Ulver is one of my favorite bands. I think their best stuff is their later, non-metal, avant-garde type stuff (though Bergtatt is amazing). A Quick Fix of Melancholy, Perdition City, and Blood Inside are their best albums, in my opinion. In fact, I'm waiting for a Blood Inside shirt to arrive in the mail. I like everything they've done, though, except for Teachings in Silence, but I may give that another chance.

It's not metal at all, but their later stuff is fucking amazing. It's just like, experimental electronic music, but it really defies description. Every album is different, but I recommend them all. The only Ulver full-length I don't have is William Blakes...

Don't bother... that's probably the last time he will be posting anyway.

And to Ponos, after listenning to None So Vile a little more I got used to Lord Worm's vocals, and you were right, his growls are awesome.

I just had a little conversation with Khamul on MSN Messenger. It seems that his posts have been deleted.

He really isn't posting to Newgrounds anymore, but he talked to me about all his musical projects. This guy is awesome :)

Anyone knows One Man Army And The Undead Quartet?
Cause I'm listenning to some of their stuff and it's very nice shit. At first I thought they were Death Metal but I'm starting to wonder if we should say Melodic Death Metal.

Man I just fucking feel like going to a death metal show right now. Where do you guys get your informations about metal shows?

Listenning to right now : Dominator Of The Flesh by One Man Army And The Undead Quartet

That's his alt. We all knew him as ElGhoulio. I recently started getting back in touch with him when I started using Trillian, which has my MSN contacts.

Yeah that's what I thought. I knew he was ElGhoulio. His msn adress being grimtheghoul... I think that it's pretty much an obvious fact :P

He's a good guy.

Yep.

I tried listening to that album again, when I started getting more into death metal... Again. And GOD DAMN, that album was as core as the inside of an apple. Yeah. I went there.

Cannibal Corpse's latest, Evisceration Plague, is just brilliant, by the way. Think of everything that's opposite of emo, and that's pretty much Evisceration Plague. God on the CC guys for being brutal, awesome and totally not giving a shit about anyone, and making death metal the rite way, not the rong way.

At 2/19/09 12:53 AM, D3NTATUS wrote: I miss Ghoul.

Me too. He's going to kill all of you when I tell him you all started hating me for flaming some guy.

Back in the day, he would tell a guy who had 60% of his list as melodeath to fuck off, just because that music is lame and everyone talked about awesome metal. Fuck.

And yeah. I wish I had MSN.

I don't understand how or why but they're starting to get some of the Hot Topic crowd following which usually only happens when the band completely sells out like Cryptopsy's new album. I can't say I'm pissed that they're actually listening to good music it just doesn't make much sense.

Still need to check out new CC. Also, an interesting question to you all.

Favourite Motorhead song that DOESN'T sound like Ace Of Spades. I say Stone Dead Forever.

Holy shit. Well, Cannibal Corpse is the most popular death metal band ever. So that makes sense. Hope they don't ruin it for everyone.

They're not the only band suffering, I've seen scene kids wearing Mayhem shirts.
