You have problems.

I can't stand any metalcore except all that remains, which is still pretty shittie.

And I actually like some deathcore and grindcore because some of it is decent.

In fact I should have said core, cause I'm much more into Deathcore than metalcore and grindcore.

And not the crappy genre of deathcore with a ton of breakdowns instead of actual riffs. But really nice bands like Threat Signal.


And if you check out the newest album of Soilwork... you can feel the core in their music... and I think that it's kind of sad that their music isn't anything like it was before.
Which is why i'm glad of the 20 songs soilwork played when I saw them they only played four songs off their new album.

Their playing tomorrow in Montreal, I'd really like to see em.

Darkane, Warbringer and Swallow the sun are all really amazing live.

Soilwork is [retty good live, not better than those other three bands but still pretty good live.

I don't think Dio is supposed to be considered Rock in the first place.

I'm just a huge Black Sabbath band.

They're my favourite band in the universe. I fucking love them. I've learned to play a lot of the songs.

I have a band called Mind Execution, a lyric from Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. We do a cover of N.I.B. and our first gig is in three weeks.

I'm a big arse fan of them. No one can beat them in my view. My horizons are very expanded. But there's no beating the first 4 - 6 Sabbath albums.

You're right, it doesn't make you anymore 'metal', but I'd love to try and get into the majority of metal genres. to Me, Black sabbath isn't really amazing, Not even in my top 100 bands, just because they did it first doesn't mean automatically good.
Just slightly Heavier Rock, Blues scale and all that.

I mean you might say that Flames of Hell Were the first Black metal band, I don't see them getting any attention, They were doing black metal back in '84. (listen to "Cut you down")

I'm not going to disrespect anyone that Likes Black Sabbath, but I just find nothing Special about 'em.

And there are still many, many more power metal bands out there, waiting to be discovered. I feel them growing stronger, ever stronger within me. Oh i'll help you find them, because together we can accomplish anything.

I enjoy some celtic music (think enya or celtic women) classical (esp Mussorgsky and Dvorak) and i enjoy electonic music, though im not terribly into it.

Do I hate all rock ever concieved? well, i couldnt say, because i havent heard it all. I like TransSiberian Orchestra, if that counts.
