Which would have been more successful was it not that the main riff seems hauntingly familiar, and makes me wonder if I stole it unintentionally.
It does sound familiar, like allot of new wanabe old black metal songs. Not to bad though.

Yeah, I'm thinking I haven't directly copied it from anyone, but it's just a common Black Metal riff.

I am working on a black metal song, I'm probably gonna have to take original mayhem tabs though - change them around a bit, because I can't get anything that sounds mildly dark.

It will be. The tours you get in America are just fucking spoiled. We get one great band and then a crappy one for support. You guys always seem to just get two or three great bands at once.

I'm using this quote to exemplify just how much Ponos has fucked up the Hell.

Plus I don't have at least 10 Metal bands in my range of taste, I only have around 5 or 6, and that is out of the 100+ bands that I have. And the ones that I do have, are "mainstream metal" which probably translates to faggotshit to most of you guys.

Honestly, Ponos is the only guy who hates "mainstream metal." I don't give a rat's ass what you listen to, but I liked your list.

I'm sorry.

I know you'll probably never read this in the hell, so I'm posting it and also sending it as a PM, because I don't want you to leave. Especially because of Ponos.

I thought Gorgoroth were kind of faggy and sucked, but I have really been getting into some of their songs - like "Sorg".

I used to listen to a few Gorgoroth songs back in the day, but now they just seemed to have left my library, although i still have this song, its still decent in my ears.

Face paint is cool on DVDs, in pictures and in music videos.

But I never want to go to an average concert and have the band be wearing make up, facepaint, etc.

Does this not seem a bit contradictory to you? You know cause those DVDs are average concerts... with camera and the record button pressed.

I don't mean like a tape of one song by some guy on youtube.

I mean DVDs like what most bands release every few years.

They aren't average random concerts, they are 'special'

My heavily medicated berzerker dvd is just concert footage, it owns though.

The only difference is there is a camera there.
They'll play the same set (or same base songs) that they play every night. They'll perform just as well as any night because they'll be grateful that fans have paid to see them play any night of the tour.

Bands don't play one fuck-off gig (that means big in English) for the cameras and a string of small venues.
Iron Maiden will play huge venues everywhere... and the occasional groundbreakingly huge outside tour thing... but they don't wear corpsepaint.
Gorgoroth will play medium sized venues everywhere.

Bands who have an image will put effort into that image everynight they play if the image is important enough.

Oh hey guys, this place now looks like the Last. Fm club.

So, I'm currently looking for a good Metal instrumental song, from 4-6 minutes long. One with like 6 sections.

Totally.

I like to consider Immortal's corpse paint more like war paint than anything. I can't wait for there new album along with: Dark Funerals,Marduks and Slayers. Slayers next one will most likely be there death album I feara they are going to end up like Metallica's recent album.

And now for random picture.

I'm thinking about going to this if I have nothing better to do in a few months from now...

Should I?

When I saw Marduk (First and only Black Metal I have seen to date) I didn't know what to expect with their corpsepaint, but Marduk are one of the few bands that don't apply it overly heavy. So it added quite well to the show.

You kick ass.

Sadly you need to list at least five more metal bands if you want to join.

Iron Maiden, Rhapsody of Fire, Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth

Dream Theater - Scene Seven: I. The Dance of Eternity (6:14)

If neither of these are enough then you fail.

Cool, it's a great album. The bass is pretty awesome in that one and I love the folk elements.

I know the difference between Melodic death metal and death metal, but what exactly is the difference between death metal and brutal death metal?

Is brutal death just heavier death or what?
