Only Electric Counterpoint by Steve Reich... and maybe Different Trains by him too, but I've not listened to that yet.

Got Ulver's 'Bergtatt' because Ponos goes on about it a lot. I'm loving it. Garm's clean voice is absolutely beautiful.

I recently got Paopticon by Isis and the Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull by Earth. I kinda forgot to mention that.

Bees Made Honey is good :). Theres a riff in one of the tracks that really annoys me for some reason. But besides that its cool :).

And does anyone have Grief's 'Miserably Ever After'? My pendrive kind of ran out of space whilst putting that on there and so I don't have the last track (Trust I believe). If someone has it and would be kind enough to send it me send me a PM or something :).

Well, since I like some Metal songs (some are symphonic, some are pure heavy, some are death), I would like to initiate. Well, I like Lordi's songs, and some Saydie songs. Also, Nightwish.

The unfinished version of the album cover was leaked the other day. I can't remember where I saw it now, but it looked great and perhaps the finished version will be even better. From what I've heard, the album will be out in August, but we can't be too sure. After all, how many release dates did this album fail to make it in time?

one too many times...

that's making me really sad...
I still think that Wintersun is one of the best band to ever exist. Jari Mäenpää just knows how to put every single instruments together, to get the best melodies, the best rythms and the best feeling and atmosphere to his music. He is amazing, and I think that the best years of Ensiferum were the ones with him as a vocalist and guitarist.

People were complaining about the name of power metal bands being plain stupid a few pages ago.

I formed a power + progressive metal band the other day with a few friends and we're calling ourselves "The Immaculates."

Yay or nay?

Nay. You should come up with a better name than that.

Personally, I prefer band names that are three syllables or less.

Their isn't really any meaning. I think it's a cool name....but for anyone other than my band. :P

'Cause it sounds sort of conceded.

I just wanted to see what y'all though.

I know, but people have been saying otherwise.

Sort of yes and no to an extent.

All of our songs are fantasy but it isn't the traditional "DRAGONSLAYER!" sort of deal.

Its unique, all of our songs are about a worldwide zombie apocalypse and the humans that are surviving that. :P

Cheesy but hey, IT'S ORIGINAL.

I've never really been a fan of metal bands with "The" preceding it. I dunno, it seems weird.

Oh I didn't mean for that to be in the quotes. It's just "Immaculates" ... but I guess if one was talking about us it would be sort of easier to say "Yeah have you guys heard THE Immaculates?" as opposed to "Have you guys heard Immaculates?"

Oh well if we ever go on tour or make a album it'll just be "Immaculates".

In other news....is Edguy's Tinnitus Sanctus any good? I want to know if I should get it or not.

That's one way to think about it. "The Immaculates" is just not a name you can imagine hearing loud chants for. It would just feel awkward. But more importantly, just the name itself just evokes images of gay orgies in my head for some reason. I'm not sure why. I have the same problem with the Jonas Brothers, Backstreet Boys, Job For a Cowboy and Cock and Ball Torture.

Also, I probably should've said 5 syllables or less instead of 3.
