Well. Kinda. I went from a Metallica fan to a Children of Bodom fan to a Cryptopsy fan to a Burzum fan to a Sleep fan.

Symphony X will forever be an awesome band. And Metallica is good PenisClown, they know how to write nice riffs and lyrics and add a good feeling to their music. I really do not understand why you should stop listenning to some music just because you find something else.

It's just a stupid thing I do. I delete the music I don't like as much as other music. Now that I've discovered the glory and amazingness of bands like Bongzilla, Sleep, High on Fire, Weedeater and bla bla bla I'm not fucking blasting De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas like I used to. I like Celtic Frost and Bathory. They are some odd ones out in my collection. Because they're thrash. But Celtic Frost are so cool. Early, they had so many sick metal as fuck riffs that were way ahead of their time. Then they put them together with trumpets. Then, after they made those two really shitty albums, they made that fucking kick arse doom album Monotheist.

Bathory were ahead of their time too. Black metal wouldn't of happened without Bathory man. And viking themes would've taken a little while longer to invade metal. And great music.

My music taste has evolved. My list when I first started here probably wouldn't get me into this place now. Full of SOAD, Machine Head, Pantera, Slayer. But the longer I've been in this place the more music I've taken on board from other members. And I consider some of the old bands I listened to as shit because in comparison to the new discoveries they are just that.

Big music collections kinda smother me.

I'm more into their self-titled debut. It's better than CMF and Dopethrone.

I've not listened to it fully yet but Black Butterfly was one of the first EW songs I heard and I'm confident I will prefer the self titled too seeing as its more Trad and thats how I roll.

Black Butterfly is sweet, but Behemoth is fucking amazing. As is Devil's Bride and the first song, Stone Magnet. It's a great album.
