Read the post, i was going to rip into them because they said 'ITS LIKE DEATH METAL, BUT LESS HEAVY'. It's fine if they want to listen to metalcore, i don't give a shit, but when they start making the other genres look bad/whatever word you wanna use, they need to be told right from wrong.

No, the thing that you cannot stand is that they compared it to death metal. Cause saying that it's like death metal but less heavy is not trying to make it look bad. Even if they are totally wrong, you do not have to get pissed about it.
And if they would have compared melodic death metal to death metal by saying melo is like death but less heavy, you wouldn't have gived a shit. You just hate metalcore and anytime you get a chance at bashing someone who listen to that kind of music you will do it. And if not, you just consider your music to be way much better in anyway, and you really see yourself as a much more better music connoisseur than them.

The fact is, that even if your not bashing on metalcore fans or metalcore itself, you still consider that your music is way better. And that's what annoys me the most.

The point I'm bringing up, is that I understand that SpeedMetalSandwich didn't like it that these guys made a bad comparison between death metal and metalcore, but not for the good reasons.

i would recommend getting hold of character and fiction, but when it comes to dark tranq they are all good, maybe damage done is a bit mediocre but it does have some awesome tracks on it. as well as those two i would say to keep and eye out for Haven as well. (also they are an amazing live band, they totally owned Bloodstock in 07 :P)
