I've heard of them. Really haven't listened to much of them. Also check out Ragnarok.

Sure, you're in, but Rob Zombie, Drowning Pool, Slipknot, and Rammstein aren't metal, just so you know. Anyway, welcome to the Metal Hell.

Wow, I never thought I could go so deep into Brutal Death Metal... but I fucking love it !!!
Cryptopsy is fucking awesome, I just love "Slit Your Guts"
But em... the big problem is really that I don't like any of the vocalists they had in all their years of existence... they really just aren't my type of growler... you can't get a word of Greening's vocals, though he still can sound good in a few songs.... and Mike Disalvo's vocals are way worst...

Other than this I have checked some other brutal death metal bands.
I think Benighted really got to be my favorite, especially their french songs: Grind Wit and Icon !!!
I think that Kronos is pretty awesome two !!!

I would like to know if any of you guys like the band Glass Casket?
Cause I think that they are fucking great.

So, some supposed metal festival is gonna be arriving in Australia next year. And Necrophagist is gonna be playing in it. The problem is, im most likely going to be in university by then or working. But, ill keep my hopes up for a free day.

I posted about this ages ago =P
I'll be doing my IT course next year but I'm definitely taking a day off if I have to.

Yep, still doing the same shit. The only track from Shogun I bothered listening to was the title track since I was curious to know how they were with a 13 minute track. IMO, they did poorly.

They had a track somewhere around that length on The Crusade.

It wasn't exempt from the 'let's steal a lot of shit and call it a song' rule, either.

Some of John Petrucci's more hardcore fans were foaming at the mouth.

Morbid Angel, Kataklysm, Arsis, Keep of Kalessin & Marduk are playing here in Vienna on Saturday.

...and I can't afford it. Since I moved in, bought furniture, paid rent, etc. I'm pretty much blank until my next paycheck (two weeks) so I have to miss that event.

It's not as painful for me as some of you might think, since none of these bands belong to my alltime favourites, but still...Morbid Angel would have been historical, at least.

I might see Benighted in a week, though.

Well... it's not death metal anymore... I know...
but it's not cause it's deathcore that it has to automaticaly suck...
and the first song of The Unspoken King is pretty good, though I really like stuff from None So Vile better...

Meshuggah, Cynic, and The Faceless announced a tour of the US and they're coming to NY February 19th (which is awesome because I don't have school that day or the next) and I am getting tickets.

Aw yeah.

Here I am, bored with everything.

I had to do a commercial for a uni assignment (purely for the course, not for publication) but I used Fantômas' '04/06/05 Wednesday' (its the one with the cool riff) from Suspended Animation.
Its great because the uni has a new post-modern building and I think that ties in nicely with Avant-Garde.

And the riff is ace :P.

Rotting Christ is coming here again on January 8th, a Thursday. Regular tickets are $27.50 (probably with a $1 or $2 surcharge, knowing how BB King's operates) and VIPs are $65. I haven't gotten my ticket yet but I will soon. I remember paying $28.50 to see them (and Averse Sefira, Belphegor and Immolation) in February.

You know, before last night, I haven't heard any Fantômas, but after what you said about the song, I was curious to know what it was like. I gave it a listen and the riff is indeed cool. I ought to listen to more Fantômas and see if I will enjoy their albums or not.

Get Suspended Animation if you can. Its a good album, lots of weird noises to keep you interested. As opposed to Delirium Cordiá which is very little noise :P.

The latest Kawir album from 2008 is very good for people who are into Black/Folk, but not the faggy kind.

I'd like to thanks mist Sense-Offender for making discover the greatness of the band Kronos.

I'd like to know what was the name of the other band you mentionned me.
I told you that I really liked Benighted, so you said that I would probably like Kronos and another band.
But I can't remember that band's name, so... some help would be appreciated.

Otherwise, if you guys know some great Brutal Death or just... Death Metal bands, just let me know !!!

Lykathea Aflame is a Progressive Death Metal band, And It's Really brutal and really melodic at times, And not your everyday usual Melodies, but very unique, insanely catchy ones, been one of my Favourites for a while now.
Macabre is awesome Death metal about serial Killers
Skinless is awesome and brutal as fuck.
