Sounds quite stupid to me aswell. Although I have seen "0)))" live.

While I don't COMPLETELY agree, I have this to say:
the Posers rarely go to the shows.
I'm going to 2 shows:
This huge show with Icelandic Metal bands
Check out the myspaces.
then Disturbing Boner
here's their myspace.
Since I now have a band of my own, I have to take a huge part in the local metal scene, We mostly have groove metal, black metal that never plays live, a little death metal, Hardcore (Good though), so I've got to get recognized as part of the scene.

The DVD is more of their stoner metal/rock type stuff.
Here I am, bored with everything.
Im probily going to have to find a new guitarist I don't know what happened to mine.

Not with my night vision eyes I can see in the woods at night.
No just too busy growing up at work. He moved in with a drummer of his freinds band. Took all his cd's so I can't burn anymore material. :( I one sad sad panda. I don't know if he's just too busy or just ignoreing me now.
I had something to add,but for some reason, reading about O))) numbed my brain or something.
On another note, plans to go see In Flames, and Gojira on November 29th or so. They're playing with All That Remains and some Alaskan chaps called 36CRAZYFISTS. Not really a fan of In Flames. Should I be?
or is it stupid that I'm going for the sole purpose of Gojira?
I've been Fab since the re-design,have you?
JUST BECAUSE I LISTEN TO COREY HART :'[
Oh yeah, I got some more albums.
Smile Carved Sour - the Sound You'll Never Hear
the Soundbyte - Rivers of Glass
Apocryphal Voice- Stilltrapped
Strommoussheld - Behind the Curtain
Varuna - the Epical Trilogy of Vorlaufen I: Night Master
I'm not yet sure what I think about these releases, although what I heard from the Smile Carved Sour albums is awesome.

You don't have to be a fan of anyone.

It's the opposite. They're amazing live.
And I'm going to stop calling Sunn O))), Sunn O))). Thats what they're called.

I'm going to the show in Montreal on November 6th.
I do like the older stuff of In Flames, the new stuff is really just "ok" to me, not that great.
But I'm going to the show for All That Remains, I know Gojira is pretty nice and I have a friend who likes 36CrazyFists. I just hope they are worth it :)
or is it stupid that I'm going for the sole purpose of Gojira?
mmm, it's not stupid, but as they aren't the headline of the show, you won't have the chance to ear a lot of their stuff live.

Im going to have to agree. Its a pretty bad way to think of people as posers depending on the whether they go to shows or not. So far, this year the only bands that have toured through Sydney, have been Psycroptic (they're aussie though, so thats basically mandatory they come here), Testament, Messhugah and i know im forgetting another one but thats all i can remember that have come through so far. All on days or between periods when i had fucking exams to study for.
While on the other hand, that dude AniMetal there lives right next to some stadium or something and has seen quite a lot of live shows.
But meh, i guess its only just a statement/opinion.
for the record, yes i have been to live shows.

Don't be a dick. It's because your list was mostly "nu-metal" and we don't consider that metal here. We discuss real metal here and you wouldn't really have anything to talk about here. It's not to be unfriendly or elitist (though some members may be that way, I don't speak for them). It's because you'd have nothing to add to the discussion.
If you like any progressive metal, thrash metal, doom metal, funeral doom metal, traditional heavy metal, speed metal, thrash metal, black metal, avant-garde metal, death metal, folkmetal sludge metal, ANY KIND OF METAL, then list those bands and we'll see.
so chill. That kind of weakened my high, man.

I found his little vexed reply kind funny, you know, in that jokes on him kinda way.
This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.

The metal scene in my country sucks and the few shows that bands decide to do while high over here are usually in 'over 16' venues.
Which makes completely no sense.

Caring for over 16, try being 16 and hearing you needed to be 18 to go see Gigantour. THEN, feel the kick in the balls after you buy tickets for The Black Crusade, that they organized ANOTHER show which was UNDER 18's.
story of my fail.

The growls from Deathklok aren't really growls.
More like deep talking with a harsh edge.

Also writing more original stuff next rehearsal today, Might record and then we'll get a myspace and all that shit.
And I'm going to stop calling Sunn O))), Sunn O))). Thats what they're called.
On wikipedia it says to pronounce them "sun o" but I suppose they should just be pronounced "sun".

From what I gather from what my Doom obsessed friend has told me it's pronounced just "Sun" and the O))) is just decoration as part of the 'thing' the band has going from having taken there band name from the Amplifier company.
So I don't get all this talk of pronouncing it "O)))" or whatever.

I would assume because their symbol is 0))) and the 0))) kind of looks like a sun.
I should probably like Sunn O)). But I don't. It's just that we both take our names from amplifier companies.
That must say a lot about what I think of me aswell. Sigh.
