Alexi from COB and Dimmu Borgir's Vocalists aren't that bad, and btw I can understand both fine.
For me the hardest to understand Vocalists are:
1: Zyklon's
2: Naglfar's

Those vocals are MUCH harder to understand than Dimmu Borgirs, and Especially Children of Bodom's

How about Maniac's vocs on Deathcrush? Or maybe Legion (Marduk)'s vocs? Those are pretty hard to understand. I think Ghaal's (from Gorgoroth) vocs are pretty hard to understand. And DB's vocs are easy to understand, they are just annoying.

Oh, and btw, please check out my audio. Most of it is straight black metal, with a few death metal songs in there, and a couple oddball songs also. Leave a review!

Anyone heard of the band "Trivium"? I just heard a couple songs and they sound promising.
if you get around to it, check out the tracks "The Deceived" and "Pull harder on the strings of your martyr"

good to hear from you again, and one thing i want to ask you is, is your site still up and running? (i have tried going back a few pages on here and clicking the link but it doesnt seem to work).

trivium are pretty cool i have only heard pull harder on the strings of your martyr but i shall look into them a bit more.

Maniac didn't sing on Deathcrush, Dead did. There is a HUGE difference between Maniac. That is that Maniac sounds like shit to me, Dead was rather exceptional.

Sorry Grim, I'll listen to your stuff when I got some more time, because I'm sure it's good, but I just have no time right now...

Idiot, Dead didn't sing on deathcrush. Maniac left in 1988 and was replaced by Dead. And I'm sure you've heard Deathcrush, then.

For an entire history of Mayhem lineups:

beginning-1986-Euronymous, Necrobutcher, Manheim
1986-1987-Euronymous, Necrobutcher, Manheim, Messiah
1987-1988-Euronymous, Necrobutcher, Manheim, Maniac
1988-1988-Euronymous, Necrobutcher, Torben, Maniac
1988-1991-Euronymous, Necrobutcher, Hellhammer, Dead
1991-1993-Euronymous, Occultus, Hellhammer
1993-1993-Euronymous, Varg Vikernes, Hellhammer, Attila
1995-1997-Blasphemer, Necrobutcher, Hellhammer, Maniac
1997-1998-Blasphemer, Nordgaren, Necrobutcher, Hellhammer, Maniac
1998-2004-Blasphemer, Necrobutcher, Hellhammer, Maniac
2004-present-Blasphemer, Necrobutcher, Hellhammer, Attila

Deathcrush was made in late 1987, Cannibalfetus. Read the lineups. Get a clue.

I have never heard Deathcrush, same with Marduk; never had a chance to really. And I havent heard much Gorgoroth either.
Zyklon and Naglfar are just the hardest to understand that I have albums of.

I'm not sure. I know close to about100 black metal bands, 10 or 20 thrash bands, 10 or20 death metal bands, and a bunch of oddball groups.

Well, there's no need for getting upset like a little girl.

I heard the live-version of Freezing Moon and not the studio version where Maniac sounds like shit. I got that wrong before.

Well, it's great you know so much about Mayhem's line-up, Mayhem doesn't give me much, so I don't know the exact years of the line up-changes.

\
Freezing Moon was on De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas, not Deathcrush. Attila was singing on Freezing Moon, not Maniac. And back in 1987, Maniac sounded definitely good, sort of like burzum. And in Chimera, he sounded good also. Just a little clarification.

I know close to a Hundred Metal bands, but for some strange reason I feel rather inferior.
What would you clasify as an "Odball" Group?

A few ones that don't fit the genres listed. Like a funk group from the seventies (I have 3 of their CD's) or a heavy ska group (I have 5 of their CD's) or Iron Maiden, or Polly's orchid, etc...

Wtf. Iron Maiden fits in with the subgenres of metal.
they are NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal)

Yes, but I only mentioned thrash, death metal, or Black metal. Iron Maiden certainly isn't any of the three.

Hello once again darlings i trust all of you have been well, i am only really reporting in to inform you of my latest purchases, Hammerfall "Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken" an amazing album and worth the purchase of anyone who calls them selves a power fan.

secondly Kamelots new album Black Halo a very different approach from fourth legacy or epica and has a rather dark and sinister feel to it. also another MUST have.

I would recommend the master of black metal, Burzum. If you can find a cd by him (excluding Daudi Baldrs and Hlidskjalf, which are instrumental albums) you will know black metal.

I wouldn't call him the master ;) but I'd especially recommend "Det Som Engang Var".
