America really can't do a lot of right. American metal usually comes of as cheap and nasty. The more intelligent metal from America isn't bad, and a lot of the doom and stoner stuff is ok too. In recent years thrash power speed doesn't work a lot there. A lot of their death metal sucks. A lot of it is decent though. America is weird.
