So, i got my download of Death Magnetic, and im liking what i hear. Apart from a couple of solos, and laughing at how they managed to break Death Is Not The End apart and slip it into 2 or 3 songs, i say its pretty decent. Of course thats just my opinion.

A friend of mine told me about the Tech Death band Gorod.
Brilliant stuff, another one of Frances achievements in Metal.
This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.

Well I definitely think it helped us along the way but that was a long time ago. If you compare the influence of meat eating to the various agricultural revolutions over the years, they played a much larger part in civilizing the human being.
Organized crop growth got people to finally settle down and create serious civilizations, bartering and the early stages of economy sprung out of it, and it fed most of a cities work force which before on meat primarily, would have been impossible. I suppose that is true. But it is true that it's the natural way, and I choose to follow what we as humans have evolved to do.
Humans are omnivorous, we have the choice between the two and we can digest both. If it's entirely healthy to eat nothing but veggies why not? Nature seems like an arbitrary reason to base your decisions, as nature is a cruel and stupid force in my opinion though sometimes beautiful none the less.

In other news though, I have truly nice friends. I told you about the guitar I was crafting myself? Well, to be honest, I don't like it one bit. Don't like the tone, don't like the playability and don't even like the looks anymore. So I was stuck with no good guitar to record/play, etc. and so I wanted to sell that self-made thing to get a half-decent low-range guitar but all of a sudden, a good friend of mine shows me his "new gigbag" and that bag had something inside of it....a ESP LTD Viper 100 in see-thru black, which is the guitar I've wanted when I sold my 50 Viper, before I build that other thing....I mean, he just gave me a 300 Euro guitar as a fucking premature birthday PRESENT! I still feel guilty as hell for accepting it, but damn, it's so fucking awesome. I'm twice the player I was before and that after two days, because it plays so fucking well.
I also founded a new band with said friend and another friend (guitarist/drummer) and we've started playing a smooth combination of Grunge Rock, Heavy Metal and Punk/Bay Area Thrash and the songwriting flows like never before...it's like magic. We've already written a truly nice song that sounds like a combination of Heathen (on Victims of Deception), Alice in Chains, Iron Maiden and The Exploited, including a 240 bpm thrash-break with a ripping solo on top ^^
Well, also seem to have a great job in sight, but more details on that later.
Seems like my life is finally off the downward spiral.

Meh, I find them quite pointless. If I wanted to make playlists, I'd either organise a list on Windows Media Player or write up a list of songs on a Word Document, but hey, that's just my thoughts on playlists. If you wish to use playlists on Last.fm, fine by me.
