I just got....

Immortal-Sons Of Northern Darkness

Deicide-Serpents Of The Light

King Diamond- Them

Serpents of the lights is by far one of the best albums I've ever listened too! In my opinion death metal should sound like this just fucking great.

I think she looks fairly average in whether she's airbushed or in person or whatever. But she seems nice and cheerful.

I'm not a superficial person :).

MOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARA!

Not so much :(.

I'm listening to Manowar at the minute and I'm starting to like their older work now. Was never keen on it before.
And Manowar are quite impressive, in that they can dress up like oiled up semi-gimps and still be more manly than most Heavy/Power Metal bands.

Nope, the new guy is filling Chalky's boots nicely though.

Hey people... i've been meaning to join this club ever since I joined NG... metal rules!

Bands (just a few... otherwise this list would go on and on and on) :

At The Gates
Opeth
Pantera
Metallica (dare i say... pre-Black era?)
Sepultura

That's something like my top 5 but there's a couple of bands screaming to get up there.

About me: I play drums in a cover band (not metal though... shame) and record my own music too. If you wanna hear my death growls check out my latest song, Skullfucked.

Latest audio: Chicken Humpin' - Funny and retarded. No Sympathy for a Liar - You reap what you sow in Bard's vocalised version of Deathcalypse's supreme heavy metal.

Augury are amazing. Wish they'd release more stuff.

At the Gates
Opeth
Pantera
Metallica (pre-black)
Sepultura
Cradle of Filth
Dimmu Borgir
Fear Factory
Ministry
Strapping Young Lad

hmmmm.... looking over that list... crap, i AM old now, aren't? better grab the walking stick and turn up the hearing aid :P

Hello, everybody. Thanks, to everybody who wished me a happy birthday. I ha a great time.

Saturday and Sunday were great. I enjoyed the company of family and friends, had awesome food, and got some good gifts and some money.

On Saturday night, I went to the Chance in Pughkeepsie to see my friend's band, Waking up East, play (no, they're not metal). They were great. And I bought their CD for 5 bucks. All the members are very talented. My friend is the bassist and he's really good. He was acting ridiculous on stage. haha. The two bands that we saw before his band were not very good, though, especially the band that played right before his band. While we were there, I noticed a poster on the wall of a doom metal band called Minsk. I called attention to it and mentioned that I like what I've heard from them and one of my friends snatched the poster and put it in his pocket so he could give it to me later. I was pleasantly surprised after he handed to me when we headed back home when I noticed that the other side was a poster for Rwake's (sludge/doom) latest album, Voices of Omens. So,, I'm hanging it by that side in my room, now.

Speaking of which, I recently got that album. I haven't yet listened to the whole thing.

I've only heard the title. I'll take a look.

Yeah, I skimmed through a couple older pages a couple weeks ago and suddenly remembered people who used to post here. My joining list wasn't as bad as I remember, but I intentionally included some bands I knew weren't metal just to share that information. That wasn't a great idea. TotallySpies let me in, though.

All the time. Western Canada has a really good Black/War metal scene as well. Revenge, Axis of Advance, Warmarch, Operation Winter Mist, Blasphemy and Conqueror. Those are some of my favorite bands period let alone from Canada.

Shame only one other guy represented on the Saturday meet for the MH, still better luck next year!!!
