There was this poseur who claimed to be Metal and Punk and Rock and whatever else she wanted it seemed.
She trained Matt Tuck from BFMV... so you know this isn't going to have a happy ending.

But incase you didn't see it, she - in her demonstration of different vocal styles she can do - demonstrated the worse attempt at growling I have ever heard, and I think will ever hear. Except maybe out of parody.

SikTh are pretty strange in a similar way to Spastic.
But there is a Core influence in the music (especially the vocals).
The instrumental is top notch. But besides it being all weird and all-over-the-place it's not really a quirky and funny in that Jarzombek way :(.
But you have both Spastic albums right? They're both grand. I was reluctant to get Ink Compatible incase it didn't live up to Complete.

She probably spends a lot of time either on her own or with other pretencious people and thus doesn't realise no one likes people like that.

But the growl. I was just pleading with the TV that she wouldn't try and growl because even if she was good it would have been pathetic on a show such as X Factor.
But all she did was say 'roar' in a slightly lower voice. You get more brutality from a child impersonating a lion.

I arrived a little late for the concert so I missed most of sonata arctica(Unfourantly) but from what I did see they were very good, you could tell that they were having a great time.

I didn't recognize any of the songs they played, I suppose since I was rather late it is possible they were playing songs going to be on their next album...? Mabye, who knows.

Between songs they were rather hilarious.

Nightwish was.....a lot better than I expected, some of the songs they played were whoever brings the night, Wishmaster, siren, bye bye beautiful, and Amaranth as well as a few others I don't know.

Annette bleached her hair, which I didn't expect and I got to tell you....she was rather bubbly on stage.

(Also she looks ten years older in real life than she does in the videos. :P)

I saw the concert with a friend of mine who was going to let me crash at his apartment for the night but he had work so in addition to being late for most of Sonata I also had to leave with my friend about ten minutes early. :(

I slept to around 1 PM here and now i'm back home and all in all I had a blast.

Also my bud got a really awesome picture of me sleeping with both of his cats sleeping on top of me and it looks really kewl, i'm gonna ask him to save that picture and email it to me so I can post it. :P

About two weeks ago at a festival. They headlined it too. I enjoy the open air night time gig experience regardless of the band (expect Dimmu Borgir). It's such an epic way to watch a live band. And Power Metal is fitting for that.
