It's going to be a solid Alder body, one piece. I've also used it for some of the guitars I've sold and it's a wood I've taken much of a liking to.

It's the website of the band Heathen - one of the best thrash bands I know and they give all their stuff away for free. Fully legal downloads. Definitely get "Victims of Deception" - one of the best melodic thrash albums ever. Excellent skills.

Also, download this demo here, it's from 2005 (!) and is no groove bullshit, as it sounds like the logical successor to "Victims of Deception" - maybe some their best tracks are on there!

Dragonforce is probably the only band that is both overrated and underrated at exactly the same fucking time.

They are overrated cause they have way more credit than their music is worth, and a fanbase that is quite noteworthy in size.

They are underrated because despite the fact they do suck at concert and the singer has a gay voice, their recordings are actually a nice listen.

It seems to me that everyone either loves DF and says it's the best band around or hates it completely and insults them every chance they get.

My opinion:
1. It's a good album.
2. It's really innovative. (For DragonForce)
3. Heroes of Our Time is a mish-mash of MSWGO and TTFAF
4. What happened to the track on the album with no guitars during most of the verses, but then it explodes into a cavalcade of epicness during the chorus?
5. There's no track in vein of Disciples of Babylon, Soldiers of the Wasteland or Cry For Eternity. As in: No really long track with better musicianship than the rest of the album.
6. Hey, DragonForce, protip: Don't make the last word in the chorus completely ruin the uplifting feel of the song. (Trail of Broken Hearts, Inside the Winter Storm)
7. The Warrior Inside intro sounds like a freaking circus.

I agree, the guitar i've been hearing of them has been a lot better than what they use to play.

The vocals have been better though.

And drums? Personally, I didn't hear any drums in that on song apart from a few seconds worth so they suck by default.
