In all fairness to your girlfriends, they have to endure all your tastes ;). And lets face it, Metal sounds like filth :P.
And Nickelback own :(.
Probiley the most fucked up thing I've ever read.

I said Boris. PAY ATTENTION, KARL.

They have big foreheads. :x
Whilst the topic of Doom is lingering.
Does anyone here listen to Shining?
I've listened to some of their work on myspace. But am still pretty indifferent to it.
Recommendations?
This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.
Checking more stuff by Excrementory Grindfuckers. Also, best cover of a Beegees song ive heard.

check. IV is a fantastic album.
Death Is Not The End riff, Standard-ized, faster, and a lot less like St. Anger. Wonder what song its going for?

I'll fucking pass. I already listened to Psychosocial from this interpretation video and I'd like to avoid the rest of their new songs. I don't like them, so I won't bother listening to them, unless they're used in interpretation videos like the aforementioned.

Speaking of Masterplan, I still only have Mk II and I'm thinking of getting their self titled album, which I heard is much better. Is that album worth getting?

The guy all the way on the right looks like a caveman.

So, every Black Metal band then?
lolololololololololol
I'm just kidding, by the way.
To prove it, I got The Power Cosmic by Bal Sagoth.

I just thought of a tagline Death Magnetic:
Metallica are back.
Only this time, for reals.
I mean, did anyone else actually see this coming? I didn't.

Not really.
I couldn't remember if I posted here last night. I knew if I did it'd be something stupid.
Hahaha, ha.

Man, don't exaggerate here. It's not quite bad, but still quite inconsistent. Lars sucks hard on that one. I'm pretty sure the studio version of "Cyanide" will be better than this (the live track that was posted online not too long ago).

I'm not exaggerating. I'm just saying that we've been duped by them before, how can we be sure it wouldn't happen again?
It's not quite bad, but still quite inconsistent.
What does inconsistent even mean when you're talking about a song? Too varied?

Don't get me wrong, I didn't say it was bad. It's not great, but I'm glad that it's so far removed from "St. Anger". It sounds like decent heavy metal, the second part even has some real thrash bits, which is very surprising.

Too varied? No, the idea of having a balladry section at the beginning is nice, but I think the intro doesn't sound too good, nor does Hetfield's voice at the beginning. I think that Lars is extremely lazy in that song, especially during the fast parts and the single-note thrashing seems quite a bit sloppy at the start. That's what I mean by inconsistency.
You heard Cyanide?

The intro isn't bad really, the sound is reminiscient of Ride/Master days.
I think Hetfield's voice throughout sounds awfully like Cobain at times... and like some kind of generic stadium Rock vocalist.
Which is all well and good... but not when you're in Metallica.
And the drumming throughout is awful in my opinion. How long has Lars been a drummer? You'd think he'd have learnt to play the fucking things by now. You get children more accomplished.
you guys might want to check this out
It's hiphop, but with some interesting lyrics.

Aw sweet, Necro. It really is about just name-dropping a bunch of metal bands and albums, but it's still funky fresh.
Here I am, bored with everything.

I hate Necro. My friend dragged me to see him last year at a festival and I couldn't stand him.
It's probably tongue-in-cheek but the whole "fuckin' bitches", etc just annoys me.
And if it's actually serious then he's a cunt.

for most of the hiphop crews it seems that the whole "ho's" etc. thing can be compared to black metal satanism...

It's hardly an aggressive, offensive subject matter.
