It's an EP and it features the best song DT have ever made :).

so which retards are attempting poetry, and which are making it?

Ouch.
I'm definately going to find that song to listen :). Great lyrics.

Blackalicious are excellent. There's a bunch of fan-made videos on youtube of the song. There's also a somewhat related song called Chemical Calisthenics which isn't as cool, but it's long. As you might have guessed, it's about science and the elements and such.

These guys: Carpathein forest

The Frostbitten Woodlands Of Norway

[Music: Tehort, Lyrics: Nattefrost]

From the ice-cold Norwegian Hills
From the silver mountain
And from My world I consider you Dead
I am born of Evil and Sin
And I always walked unholy paths
That you never seen or heard of
...And I must fight the endless battle ALONE

You Freeze to death.. In morning mist..
Great vast landscapes, Frostbitten woodlands...
Frozen thunder, Hellish blizzard storms
Here snow will always fall... Black majestic Winter Magic
The evil frozen Moonlit Nights

Here exist NO fucking life! This is MY pandemonium!!!
The Unholy North
The Cold grip of Frost... of Frost!!!!

Screams from tormented souls
Echoes in these towering mountains
The burning Pain is meant to last...
The direction of cold winds brings the putrid smell of Death...
All Heretics and Devils stand up and rides towards the Unholy Death...

Inhuman Coldness, Hellish winds
Black demons of the past
Norwegian Winter Hell...
Violent Battlecries, Perverted deathnoise
Victorious echoes of War, Death and Despair...
Candle life of own blood, and Heathen Heritage..

Epic win!!!!!

I listened to Bloodbath tonight for the first time. Had some songs on my PC since they first started getting talked about in here but never listened to them.
I wasn't really impressed. But that style of Death Metal isn't what I go for. Though I agree, belatedly, that Tagtgren's stuff is better than Akerfeldt's.

I put Virus' Carheart on as well, which I did like.

black metal lyrics are easy to come up with. the only easier metal lyrics are power metal. behold, my improv'd black metal lyrics:

On the frostbitten shores of Norway
We rape the Christian brides today.
As we fills their bodies with nails
They will fill the air with wails

GRAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH
CHRISTRAPE ON THE SABBATH
GRAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH
BEHOLD THE GRUESOME AFTERMATH

and so on

I do say that was quite clever and I liked it gave me a black metal boner for some reason. :)

Dude, just because it's on the Archives doesn't mean they're Metal.

Suicide Silence are horrid, generic Deathcore.

I mean seriously, MA has All That Remains for christ sake.

Never rely on it.

I guess you're right, but it's a very loose guild.

Most of the bands that shouldn't be there have -core under the genre anyway.

Just talking out of my ass but what if we made our own Metal Encyclopedia? Filled only with the bands that we see worthy enough to call Metal. That would make things much simpler, no?

That'd take a lot of work. It's much easier to just use MA and ignore the stupid choices they make.

Have you heard early White Zombie? I wouldn´t have recognized the singer as Rob Zombie.

Definitely awesome. Lightning Bolt was my first noise rock band. Brian Chippendale (the drummer) is in another noise band called Mindflayer. It's a lot less rock and a whole lot more noise. It's just him doing drums and a guy doing electronics.

the other noise bands i listen to:
Sonic Youth (i love them)
Arab On Radar
Einstürzende Neubauten
My Bloody Valentine
Parts & Labor
Shellac
Big Black
Throbbing Gristle
Swans
The Jesus Lizard
Liars
Boris (yes, they are also metal)
Death From Above 1979
Animal Collective (sort of)
