It was alright. Musically.
Recording wasn't brilliant. Clean it up and it'd be fine... and there is one bit where you repeat two notes and it sounds ugly.
Besides the production and that one bit though, I like it.

Yeah that part pisses me off a bit too, I only noticed how badly it fits in, after submitting.
The Quality, I can't fix, I don't have a proper mic .

Thank you very much, Friend.

Can anyone recommend any bands similar to Mirrorthrone or Diabolical Masquerade?

I'm really digging these too at the moment.

The Iron Maiden covers are out.

I feel sorry for Maiden, they really do deserve A LOT better then this. This, is just an atrocity.
They've given the job of honouring a fantastic band to shitty, Metalcore, Hardcore, Pop Rock bands.

It's a giant slap to the face of Metal.

Sign - Run to the Hills
The Gallows - Wrathchild
Avenged Sevenfold - Flash of the Blade
Madina Lake - Caught Somewhere in Time
Coheed and Cambria - The Trooper
Glamour of the Kill - 2 Minutes to Midnight
DevilDriver - Wasted Years
Metallica - Remember Tomorrow
Fightstar - Fear of the Dark
Black Tide - Prower
Year Long Disaster - Running Free
Ghostlines - Brave New World
Trivium - Iron Maiden
Those are the worst.

The only ones that are decent.
Machine Head - Hallowed Be Thy Name
Dream Theater - To Tame a Land

This is the worst tribute album ever released.

Vocals really ruined the DevilDriver one.
The Metallica one is just bland.

Why would you want to remember the last time you came to Blackpool? It'll only upset you ;).

Oh right, I think the last time I went there was when there were really strong winds 7 - 8 years ago. lol.

To be honest, I didn't really like Machine Head's cover. They're an alright band, but their style didn't fit with a Maiden song. Dream Theater's cover on the other hand, was pretty good. :) Also, the Metallica cover was ok, but had some flaws. The rest I'm not gonna bother listening to.

I'm glad I didn't get this tribute album.

I was overly impressed when I saw him live.
I blame it on the big arena though and not Bill himself. It felt really impersonal.
But I'm sure I'll enjoy the DVD.

Still, go :). It's Bill Bailey XD.

The Coheed and Cambria cover is decent, not as bad as the others, especially the Sign cover (oh fuck).

Machine Head is the most faithful one on the CD in my opinion.

Here I am, bored with everything.

Yes, I was pointing out the worst ones, didn't say they were as bad as the others but still part of the horridness that makes up this album.

I've already explained why these two were listed.

Has anyone heard of the band ashen light? They're only CDs are sold in russia, I guess, because I can't find them in america. They're a Black metal group that is rather underground (I'm assuming) and I found them because they were featured in this game.

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/83 637

Anyone have any ideas? Is there some sort of russian site that I can buy CDs at? I already asked the maker of the game but I believe he's inactive or he just hates me.

And I asked general but I figure here's a good place too.

Chances are, if you haven't found them already, they're one of the Kvlt groups that only release a limited amount in the local area, or just release tapes/vinyls on a mail order basis. If you can find a band website you'll be lucky. Failing that, try searching for the band's label if you can hunt around for long enough and maybe you'll come across a mail order form.
