So I took a walk to dunken donuts today cause I had some spare change I wanted to rid of and had a donut craving.

On my walk back I found this album on the side of the road, barely scratched and in good condition.

The only song on the disk that doesn't work is the last one, other than that it works.

I was just talking to a friend on the phone a minute ago and he said that some car got stolen the other day and it had hundreds of albums in it(A real rock and metal head owned the car orignally, apparently) and the person who high jacked the car was listening to his CDs as he drove off and all the albums he didn't like he just tossed out of the window...so apparently their are lots of metal and rock albums lying around my town, i'm about to head out to see if I can find and salvage anything else. XD

My friend already found another album by Pantera, a album by Metallica, two albums by Venom and 4 Iron Maiden albums.

I'm gonna stick to my guns here and say that I like the morbidness of it :)... except the end. But as it was coursework I had to include certain criteria and conventional chord structures/progressions and a tempo change were a part of those.

still, its a solid piece, it'd be nice to hear a recreation of it by a proper band.

When I get more money (in September) I'm gonna buy a keyboard/audio interface so I'll definately be remixing it :).

Anyway, the show went well. The opening bands (Nethereal and Eyes of the Dead) weren't anything special and I had already seen EOTD over a year ago. Suffocation was killer as always, and their set included Torn Into Enthrallment, which I believe they haven't played in years--but no Breeding the Spawn or Funeral Inception. They're coming back here again in 2 months to support Carcass on their reunion tour (along with Necrophagist, Aborted, and 1349 so far) which I'm going to, but it will be pricey. I'm paying $35 + $26 more for a round-trip Metro-North ticket + food and I have no idea where I'm spending the night, except maybe on the streets.
