Neither have I. I'm thinking of getting it sometime around Talk Like a Pirate Day. :)

I already do talk like one.

I said 'yar' in the post above yours. |:P

The funny is, I already have CMR, but I haven't listened to it much yet. I heard the Cafe song and Captain Morgan's Revenge, but that's it.

I need to get it on my MP3.

It ain't easy being cheesey.

Can someone tell me why they got the worst band involved to cover the best song on the album?

Id call it a mix between Oblivion and God Of War

I think that's a bad description. It doesn't play at all like God of War and the only thing it has in common with Oblivion is an open world....which isn't that open.

But not as good as the games. Ether way I still fucking love it!!!

I would recommend people just rent it. I don't think it's worth buying. not very good. I was vey disappointed. Today's media needs moar vikings.

I remember playing some game that had vikings of some sort in it...i just can't remember it.

Anyway, i need 'study metal' (metal you can do homework/study whilst listening to).

Light of Day, Day of Darkness (Green Carnation) is good :).
I find anything conceptual works, cause its all like one long train of thought instead of lots of seperate interesting things (assuming it is interesting).

Why listen to Metal though whilst homeworking. Mellow music is much better.

I tried some Radiohead earlier, that didn't really work out though, then i listened to all my Chris Vrenna/Tweaker albums, and Megadeth is starting to run out. I need metal to sort of set the mood for my folio for woodwork and the guitar and all, its all heavy metal themed, you know, skulls, guitars, etc.

Metal is just about the only genre I can't listen to when homeworking or reading. It's just way too in-your-face for me to concentrate on anything else (except easy things like talking). Sometimes I folk shit up and listen to Ulver's Kveldssanger or Skyforger's Zobena Dziesma. usually though, I listen to jazz or something else that's instrumental, like post-rock or electronic music.

It helps me concetrate a lot. Especially songs with awesome double kick sections that last like a minute or so, along with heaps of tremolo picking, i end up going hard out and everything just comes to me for that time, then i lose it all.

It's been proven certain Mozart symphonies do help you study better. For me, jazz works just as well.

I usually listen to Coltrane when I do Latin. That, or Miles Davis.

Haha, you take Latin. We had an argument in different languages before, didn't we?

Also, I would listen to an opera in Latin to study Latin. It would seem like it would help.

Yeah i remember that. We had a PM conversation going to translate what we were saying.

Also, I would listen to an opera in Latin to study Latin. It would seem like it would help.

Nah, i'd be trying to translate it and it would fuck up my homework translation. Once I heard a German opera, and my friend Sophie (who was a foreign exchange student from germany) was trying to translate, and at the end the announcer of the radio station described the opera and it was about an incestuous brother and sister. Good times.
