You don't have to "be metal", but you have to actually listen to metal. Neither Drowning Pool nor Disturbed are metal. Also, though Slayer is metal, I don't care much for the band. I don't dislike it, though.

I'm planning on getting a part-time/casual job this year. I'm getting desperate for some extra cash for gigs and parties (alcohol).

I read back some of the posts that replied to what I said last night and I lolled. Man, some of you kids take being drunk on NG WAAAAY too seriously.
The story goes like this anyways. I was listening to HUGE amounts of Anaal Nathrakh {{Just for relevance to the topic}} when I remembered I had stopped taking the tablets for my severe hospital visit inducing tension headaches. That meant I could drink again. Please take note I have been on these tablets for near on 3-4 months, without any alcohol and I'm only 8 1/2 stone.
After deciding to get a can of beer whilst already on NG, I continued to post and chat on MSN as usual. By about beer number three I began to feel a little merry, having gone from a heavy drinker to having an alcohol tolerance the level of a 12 year old girl {{oh, the shame!}}
By beer five I was well and truelly stonking drunk. Not paraletic mind, just quite pissed out of my face. Which meant I didn't have a clue who Power Quest were to begin with despite being a massive power metal fan. Hence why I added the bit about being intoxicated in a pathetic attempt to excuse myself for the gay arse post I repplied to Ryan.
Anyways, now I'm sobre, and not at all hungover I add, I looked through the posts and lolled at how seriously everyone took it. I don't make it my business to get drunk BEFORE going on NG. I just happened to get drunk whilst on it at the time, anyways my big two oh twenty birthday is coming up I need to prepare my liver for it!!! I did find the post about the fact "because we legally can" pretty funny though.
In other news, sounds all good GC. I'm trying to look for work myself and it's bloody hard when I don't have any money to begin with {{for bus fare}}, no car and I gotta walk everywhere so my area of choice is pretty limited. To top it off, I have no previous relevant work experiance for any part time jobs going in the area, so I'm stuck between a rock and an expert difficulty place.

Well, I got some money from my income tax adjustment today, which does finally fill my pocket again. My salary will come early next week, most likely. I hope you gonna find something dude, I know the feeling of being broke for too long and I hope you don't have to endure that for much longer
