i totally agree with avoiding NSBM, or fascist & fascist sympathisers at all in music. even people like clapton for supporting the british national party. but what about the other black metal realted controversial beliefs like laveyan satanism or social darwinism? i know christians would tend to get pissed off but for me personally i tolerate it, even if i dont entirely agree with them. ok heavy subject i know but any thoughts?

I tend to ignore a band if it even has the word "pride" (I've come across "slavonic pride" and "Aryan pride" a few times) under lyrical themes on MA.

yeh thats why i got the s/t cos you read stuff about female vocals and violins on MA and a closeness to burzum but that all seems to be lies, ive uploaded one of the tracks as a demo to sendspace here's the link so you can get an idea :P there are moments of floaty ambience but once the "metal" kicks in it destroys it

As an aside, the gig my band did was pretty awesome. There were teething problems, with a longer set and all and my current state of health meaning I get exhausted quicker, but we pulled through and had some massive pits compared to the other bands. About two hundred people in the pit itself to be precise. Woot!
