Wow, I was just singing along to Amon Amarth's "Fate of Norns" and I just made the deepest growl of my life! Fucking evil, too. I guess that practicing is finally paying off. I sung like that for awhile and now my throat hurts alot, lol.

What a coincidence. I recently got that album as well. It's a badass thrash album, as I would expect from Overkill.

I got around to acquiring the Wintersun self-titled last night. I was pretty impressed with it. Though it is a bit overrated if you ask me.
It's still a kickass Melodeath album.

Hey fellas. I've sort've stopped coming here much, the internet causes too much of a pain to me for me to be able to stick around for long enough, though I have been popping in, just not bothering to talk. I've not really listened to anything new at all (although my liking for Tankard has resurfaced). And despite getting many albums (the ones Sense Offender recommended) I've not listened to them yet, and am actually having trouble finding Vanden Plas' 'Far Off Grace' and Fleurety's 'Mid Tid Skal Komme'. But yeah, these albums have been added to my inventory (some I've mentioned before):

Dream Theater - Consciously Unreal (its a bootleg I found for £13.50 in the local "cult" music shop... its worth quite a hefty sum according to Google (£93).... but I thought that when I got Bucketheadland and was disappointed to find its not that rare, seeing as it can be brought new from Japan... but this must be something special :))
Age of Nemesis - Terra Incognita
Age of Silence - Acceleration
Allan-Lande - The Battle
Blotted Science - The Machinations of Dementia
Dragonland - Holy War
Ensiferum - Victory Songs
Mastodon - Blood Mountain
Moonsorrow - V- Havitetty
Moonsorrow - Kivenkantaja
Necrophagist - Onset of Putrefaction
Psychotic Waltz - Into the Evenflow
Sigh - Gallows Gallery
Skyforger - Thunderforge
Skyforger - Zobena Dziesma
Solefald - Red for Fire- An Icelandic Odyssey, Part I
Solefald - Black for Death- An Icelandic Oddyssey, Part II
Solefald - Pills Against the Ageless Ills
Vanden Plas - Christ.0
Ved Buens Ende - Written in Waters
Virus - Carheart
Wintersun - Wintersun

I also believe I have some kind insomnia, I've looked it up and it has to be true, all the signs are there... emotional disorder and stress... and the fact my sleeping pattern consists of me not being able to sleep one night (that night being tonight, hence my prescence here, thankfully its nearing time when I can be active) and then sleeping the next for about 14 hours due to being too exhausted to stay awake.
Its well fun...

Ooh, and I should have got £500 yesterday so I may be treating myself to a nice little MIDI controller keyboard/audio interface :). So I can be creative and such... and maybe a Randall 2 x 12 cab thats on sale :).

I do that a lot, I'm usually too lost in myself to think of anything to discuss =(

Nice Find.

ABLUM LIIIIIIIIIIIIST

I don't have many of those, but most of those bands I've been planning on acquiring/checking out.
What be your favorites from that list?

As I said, I've not listened to any of them... I only listen to music on the bus, and none are installed in my Zen at the moment... I'll put some in now... alphabetical sounds good :).

Its more the audio interface part I'm bothered with... though having a midi keyboard has obvious advantages to a recording musician.

Actually, I don't think Shalashaska is that hard to remember. That's Ocelot from the Metal Gear series.

Indeed. But people usually remember me as either Darthdaver or DarthClock/Lock. I changed my name very briefly before losing internet for a year and a bit so people didn't get a chance to get used to it. Shalashaska is a difficult word to read unless you keep saying it in your head, so I regret changing it now xP. Oh well, live and let die. Atleast there aren't too many other Shalashaska's around on NG!

I certainatly shall, just bear in mind alot of it may be covers if we do get around to recording. We have some videos/a-low-budget-recording-made-using -a-phone track on our MySpace, which if you click my sig you'll get to. Just forgive the music we do, not my choice but Ben the Bassists.

If there are any members of MH living in the London/Kent area of England looking for a BM style vocalist and able to travel to areas near where I live, I would kill to hear from you. I'm tired of working with my cousins doing Korn covers and so on xP!!!!
