Opinions Opinions I need some opinions. Is The Black Dalahi Murder even considered death metal or just a bunch of emos doing shitty screamo?
I got a poster of them from Revolverand I must know if they are worthy enough to join my wall.

I just saw it too.
8/10.
My main complaint (it's not really a critique, it's just a personal problem) was that the camera was so shaky i started to feel a little seasick, but i got over it.
Havn't really posted here in a while, my band played in a Battle of the Bands tonight and we took third place.
Hey everybody, I decided to try my hand again at MS paint & make this kid uber KVLT. Whatcha think?

Theirs only ONE "Hell Hammer", and it isn't a band... It's a drummer.

Yeah I saw it last night. I really enjoyed it.
Gonna agree with you here D3NT 8/10
the camera work did kinda annoy me at times, but then I remembered why it was the way it was.
It was a pretty well played out movie.

Sounds like a weird mix of Bands :S
Not really. It's a death metal band with 2 classic metal bands. It's not that weird.

Hey, I like them too, but I'm sure there are a few here that hate Manowar.
Also, please post here more than once a day if you get the chance. I'm lonely.
Only if there's more stuff to say. If not, I'll stick to once a day.

Whether I'll see Cloverfield or not depends on who else is thinking about watching it.
I'm looking for a copy of a movie called The Decline of Western Civilization II: The Metal Years.
Supposedly it was the movie that killed 80s Glam Metal by showing the disgusting excess that metal stars at the time go through.
Though most bands in the movie probably wouldn't be considered "Metal" by today's standards (hell, they weren't considered metal by Thrash, Death, or any other good metal standard at the time) I think it was the reason that most people don't listen to metal anymore and rather listen to pop, alternative and ... emo.

Lol, I like the MSPaint thing I saw above. AAAaaaanyways, time for Shalashaska's opinion on the whole Manowar thing....
I hate them, I really REALLY fucking hate them. They are like serving shit in a cone {No pun intended S-O-A-S, plz forgiff!!} I'm going to be taking all of the Manowar pictures I have stuck all over my walls down and shall cut my hair and listen to Craig David to get that horrible Manowar music out of my system.
In the beginning there was silence and darkness
All across the earth
Then came the wind and a hole in the sky
Thunder and lightning came crashing down
Hit the earth and split the ground
Fire burned high in the sky
From down below fire melted the stone
The ground shook and started to pound
The gods made heavy metal and they saw that is was good!!!!!

Lol, I've been home alone for a while Now, And I'm working on my Vocals, Dark Funeral Is Fucking awesome to practice with!
Just like AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH for a long tim e lol
Lol, niiice. But I preffer the live videos of Dark Funeral to watch than a collection of pictures, no offence.
The BM{ish} band I usually practice vocals to is Belphegor, along with a bit of CoF to get the high pitched screeches in. Work well when combined with my mate's deep deathy grunts and growls.

Yeah I used to do CoF stuff, Mostly Beneath the Howling Stars But then I started doing the Low Guttural Stuff, And Can't go that high as easily, CoF Influence my Lyrics and Songs Immensely though, Although It doesn't sound like them at all.

Fair enough. I only use CoF because I can get that high, despite the chain smoking and the unhealthy obsession with scotch and JD. Still, Quinta Essentia is a good group to try if you're looking for mid level tones on a pitch par {so to speak} with Dimmu Borgir's Shagrath.
{Coincidently QE sound like Nile with Shagrath on vocals and a few Marduk style break downs on "Intuitive path of Strength.."}

In other news, I got the entire latter half of the Mortification discography.
BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING READ THE BELOW PARAGRAPHS:
I am genuinely disappointed. There are a few classics in there like Brutal Warfare, Satan's Doom, Razorback, God Rulz and At War with War. But the rest is a cavalcade of mediocrity. I guess by just listening to their earlier shit got me thinking that this was brutal stuff. It seems their stuff got lighter and lighter over the years until it could be considered harsh-speed metal. Then, for no reason at all, it becomes straight-up death-thrash again. But never regaining the spark of Scrolls of the Megilloth.
I guess it wasn't a good idea to listen to a band's best album so that it can only get worse from there. Metallica, Trivium, and Slayer taught me that.
On the plus side, there is also an incredibly strange deathgrind song called 'Turn', on their self-titled EP.
Now, I'm off to take a kip, get up early, look at porn, then download the good shit.

Though, Idio, dont you think it would be some funny shit if the whole movie was just a camera advertisement? LMFAO, "THE SHARPCAM 3000 SURVIVED.... COULD YOU??!?"
