Vampire; The Masquerade: Bloodlines.

Don't get Oblivion unless you intend to play it on PC. I loved Morrowind and Oblivion just appeared to me to be a dumbed down mess, and I beat everything in the game before Shivering Isles. There's no point to leveling up, all the loot and monsters are scaled to your level, and almost every quest besides some of the ones for the guilds are interchangeable "Go to location conviently spelled out for you exactly. Kill and/or retrieve X monster and/or item." and it really gets boring after a while.

Though that's why I say get the PC version. Most of the problems I had with it can be fixed with a few mod's on the PC version.

Yeah, and the best part is, you don't have to do the missions if you don't want to. Just free-roam. I'm planning to do the first Oblivion Gate when I'm a level 5 or 4. I'm only a level 2 at the minute. :(

there are werewolves in norse mythology, werebears too. theres a werewolf in egil's saga. werebears are more common though
