but is that what you want from music? instant appeal? Personally I enjoy having to listen to an album or track alot to really get into it and appreciate it, i would like to think that its this quality that sets apart real metal from other forms of popular music, you have to work at it and the rewards are infinitely greater
Well, What I like In music is sort of, well hard to put In Words...(in English atleast, But I'm Gonna Try , Don't blame me if this comes out as nonsense)
I Like Different Music After What mood I'm in Really, In the last two weeks, I have listened To Both HIM, And Lustmord Obsessively, First HIM for Some Stupid reason(only one song really though haha) then Lustmord because I'm working on Getting into new Types of music. (Love Dark Ambient for some reason)
My favourite music though, No Matter what mood, Is Music that I can relate to.
Two Songs I love, And always will, Because I can Relate to them, Are :
Amon Amarth- Thousand Years of Oppression
Amon Amarth- The Sound of Eight hooves
I just get this Tingly
Feeling, And Sometimes I just have to Sit Down or something.
I think It's the Inspiration that makes the Music.
You can Make a love song, But If you don't really love someone, It will Be hollow, To Me atleast.
You can make a Song about Fighting, But if the Force the fight in the song is about isn't something you've faced yourself, Then To me, It's cold.
It's sort of the Depth of the Emotion that counts to Me.
Also, The Subject.
Now, I Hate Dragonforce, Because it's all OMFG DRAGONS HEROES, Because I hate when the good guys win.
I also hate Christ-Metal, Because I hate the Subject.
But on the other hand, I Love Black Metal, Blackened Death metal, Death metal,Melodeath, Folk, And thrash.
Because the Subject interests me.
Anti-Christian music Drives me on, And I like songs about stuff I like.
Now, Instrumental music, well that just varies, Always.
