I am excited to be seeing Iron Maiden for the first time (!). I figure I may not get a chance to see them on the second leg at a city near me, so this could be very worthwhile. They are going on a ridiculously extensive tour with only two or three stops in USA and Canada, which I think is cool. I think its even better that one of those stops is 20 minutes away.

ok now a quick question what are peoples thoughts on cybergrind? cos i got Gigantic Brain's Invasion Discography recently and im loving it so much 63 tracks of crazy grindcore and techno its awesome. also i would like to know if anyones got some must have death metal recommendations and i stuff that just makesthe hairs on the back of your neck stand up

Amazing, and that's good to know. Tix are $40 a piece for upper deck, and I can't afford anything more. Still, I'm sure they're going to have a huge, awesome set to make up for it. Plus, its Maiden - how could anybody go wrong?

Never listened to Cybergrind, but it sounds interesting. I may check it out. Death metal recommendations from me would be same as always, I don't think anything new has come out and my favorites haven't changed. Though they aren't really completely death metal, "buy" the new Opeth live album - The Roundhouse Tapes, and give it a spin. I really enjoyed it. I thought it was a good show, the music sounded great and Mikael Akerfeldt's banter was pretentious as hell, but really funny. Definitely worth a listen, especially if you like Opeth (which is understandibly touchy).

That's not what I'm saying, it's been pretty much the same since I joined. I used to enjoy the arguing, but now it's just getting old and boring. I read the first few pages, it was really a lot better. People weren't getting shunned because they were just getting in to metal, if someone didn't like a band that someone else did it was just left at that, and they had actual discussions instead of "JUDAS PRIEST R GHEY" "NO THEY R TEH METULZ!" "WELL THE SINGAR WUZ A FAG SO THEY R GHEY".
IrishGun and I both left peacefully and we were attacked for no reason. We said why we are leaving and we get "LOL YOU GUYZ WERE NOT HERE 13 YEARS AGO SO U R JUST MAD CUZ U CAN'T PIC SPAM". It really has nothing to so with the pic spam thing, kicking Kiddi out just made me think about all of this. Metal is something I enjoy and I don't need a bunch of douches telling me what I should like or I'm not metal enough because I like something I shouldn't. I guess it's back to livejournal for me so I can go cut myself while listening to my chemical romance. See ya later.
