If I like The Sex Pistols and Power Metal, of course I like them.

I'm working on World War Z between classes. It is an account of a fictional zombie-induced holocaust. Very good actually, epecially because I'm a zombie fan. Zombies are metal.
To Bahamut: I don't feel like spouting off recs right now, but check out Catamenia (listening to them right now). They are excellent Melodic Black metal, an ofter under-represented genre. Production is very clean, and they are Finnish as well. Very cool.

I'm willing to give MAYBE one more, but I know for a fact Ghoul is fed up.
Shall I rape him in the ass with no lube?

That I didn't know. My B, son. ARF ARF!

That's great, but like I said, group consensus would be the best decision.
Hey hellians...haven't posted around here in a while, this day stressed me the fuck out, today at school one of my friends was kicked out of school for supposedly selling weed...then the principal came to talk to us and he said "whoever that has smoked marijuana, please stand up", i stood up along with another 2 or 3 people...now i'll have a talk with him tomorrow...
Any new recommendations? i've been listening to some nargaroth and fantomas lately

Why did you stand up? It's not like he could test you.

I just got Judas Priest's Painkiller. What the hell was I waiting for? Asskicking heavy metal. Straight up balls to the wall sweep picks and double bass and enough riffs to make your dick hard in a second (and yes, since this is Judas Priest we're talking about, that's a double entendre.) Fucking metal from start to finish, definitely recommended.
I recently got The Painter's Palette by Ephel Duath and Nothingface and Killing Technology by Voivod.
So far I like them nd tey sound really good. If you feel advanturous to the world of really artsy heavy metal with some black/ death metal influences (I think) and lots of dynamic changes and stuff I recommend the Painter's Pallet by Ephel Duath.
For more thrashy people definetly check out Voivods albums, Nothingface and Killing Technology. They are very thrashy in my opinion.
Hooray.

Because in my school if you wear black and you listen to non-mainstream music you automatically are drug-suspicious, besides the principal already knew that a girl had smoked pot before, but she didn't stand up so the principal asked her "what about you" and he took her to his office right away
guys check out a band on myspace called queef huffer they gotta be the most hillarious band yet most rip off shitty band of slipknot I have ever seen.
There death growls are horrible death metal/grindcore
They taught me a new term
Pink Sock:
this is the result of excessive anal plundering; the intestines actually exit through the anus, forming a dangling mass, resembling a pink sock.
After months of hearing how good they are, I'm really interested in Ulver. Can you guys give me recommendations (and i know you can) for them? I'd prefer newer stuff first, as it's piqued my interest. Maybe give me their best new CD and their best from their folk bm days?

Shadows of the Sun or A Quick Fix of Melancholy are the best of the new stuff; Kveldssanger is the best of the old.

Still, as long as you deny it he can't do anything.

I want to find a lady. Actually there is a girl, I just don't has enough courage to tell her how I feel. D:
Can someone recommend some doom? I have a little bit of doom sword and that's it.

Who hasn*t heard that? ;)
It's of course classic, but I rather listen to the modern, improved Painkiller - Rage - Soundchaser

Brilliant! So far, I've only listened to Sleep (more especially their one hour long song Dopesmoker) so far, but I've managed to get a few tracks of the other artists you mentioned. :) Thanks for the recommendations.

Haha! I got that album as soon as I wanted to get any albums by them.
I'd just like to say That I Think I've contributed plenty, Just recently, I've talked about Live Cd's/dvd's, What Bands got you into metal, a Cradle Of Filth song I found, While other have talked about eating turkey, Spongebob, Their Girlfriends breaking up with them, And Picspammed themselves..
Also, In the last 5 pages nefore I was kicked, I've posted 3 Pics, Wow, I bet that ruins your day, Doesn't it?
Sure, I'm not Fucking Perfect, I realize that, But Kicking me out; especially now, Is Fucking Stupid.
And on page 1325, When Bonemillz posted Lolcats, irishgun "lolazns" and Kyle a random pic from his camera, I posted about Cradle of Filth.
Anyway, I Can't really figure out if I'm out or not, But Whatever, I probably am by now.

Congratulations. I don't see how it's hard for you when you look that good, no homo.

Hmm. Candlemass for sure, and also Yearning. Other then that I have a lot of Death/Doom but no real straight Doom. If you're looking for Death/Doom though then check out Katatonia, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Novembers Doom, Daylight Dies, and Swallow the Sun.
Ahab is the only Funeral Doom band I have but they are Funeral Doom and they're awesome. The atmosphere in their songs is incredible and it really pulls you in. I'm actually hoping someone else will give you some recommendations because my Doom collection is kind of small, though I love all the stuff I have.
?

I second this. I recently "stumbled" upon them and I think they're great, and I'm not that into Doom. Definitely check them out, especially Ghosts of Lost (my fav album as of now).
I just ordered the Roundhouse Tapes (Opeth) and Viva Emptiness (Katatonia). Not the pinnacle of heavy, I know, but I still heart them both.

Ahab are good when you first listen to them, but the more you listen to them the more you realize how mediocre they are.
So, guys, I've been compiling a list of bands and ratings for said bands.
I've gotten through about 90 of the 600 entries.
Here it is so far.
So, are there any verdicts you guys think I should change? Maybe I listened to a shitty song, or maybe the band's a grower? Let me know (yes, I know there's a HUGE amount of really poplar stuff; I just don't have any releases of those bands and decided to have a more in-depth look at them. Of course I've heard them before.)
Prolly wont be able to see Amon Amarth :(
Too bloody broke. D:
RoseSOAS: you should know i dont think this far ahead

Motörhead and Vio-Lence deserve far more than 6.

Mediocre in comparison to other Funeral Doom or Mediocre in general?
