In other news, Sierra Entertainment is making a fucking game based on metal folklore. This is HUGE news to us metalheads. For those of you with Game Informer subscriptions, read November's when you get it. It just seems so over-the-top and filled with heavy metal inspired creatures and storylines. Wow. It figures it'd be you to agree with me on that. Seriously. I've heard Altars many a time, and there is a ton of death metal I prefer to it. I guess its for posterity's sake, or nostalgia, or cultural context, not for musicianship (IMO). Right now I would take Cannibal Corpse or Behemoth over them any day.

Cryptopsy, Entombed, Gorguts, Possessed, Demilich, Deicide, Death, Morbid Angel (again), and Suffocation round out the top ten.

I can't really make up my mind, but death's leprosy is pretty good. I also like necrophagist's onset of putrefaction.

There is way toooo many for me to name to pick a favorite. I do enjoy onset of putrefication though. Annhilation of the wicked is pretty sweet. I also like bonemill's shit :)
