Yea. Its more of an organizational task. Stuff like keeping member's lists, officiating contests. and what-not. There isn't much you can do with this task so if you want a different one just pick one.

Well at the moment i am getting around 800 B/P points a month so i hope to have around 10k by the end of the year and the person ranked 300th has just under 8200. Though of course they are going to get B/P also but some of the people at the bottom of the list sometimes get no points in a week.

I agree I think users would have to be given the option to block people, as otherwise it would get very annoying if someone keeps annoying you. Another factor would be how much space it would take up as if it would take up a lot of space I would be against it as most users have MSN or AIM so if someone was desperate they could use these to talk so someone.

I'm all for it. Space shouldn't be too much of an issue since its like an e-mail system so they can auto-delete messages that are too old. Its a much more conveint way to msg strangers than using an instant messenger program.

There is something wrong with this list. You notice that you have one person in Audio and Flash, and everybody else in BBS? You need more categories. I have an idea for at least 1, that'd be User Relations.

This category would be for recruiting, and recovering members, keeping them active, and maybe running a few contests now and then. If a member has a problem or a question on how stuff works a member from the User Relations department should be the first they should ask, therefore the users in the user relations department should have AIM, MSN, YIM, or whatever program they prefer and be open to questions and problems of the other users and users-to-be. They also shouldn't be sarcastic assholes because obviously it wouldn't work out too well.

That's just one of my ideas, another I am thinking of is allowing the members to join multiple categories so they don't have to choose between the current 3, instead they could be involved in 2 or all 3 and try to be as active as possible and such.

I am going to cut this post short now because I need to go let the dog in and don't feel like leaving this screen up :)

PS: Yeah, add me back on the member list, and if you implement this User Relations department I would be more than happy to be the secretary for that department, otherwise plug me somewhere in the BBS department, that's where I would be most appropriately fit otherwise.

That is a great idea, once the Flash department has got some members I will start to introduce an idea like that since I have had one in my head for a day or two.

That's more or less what I was going for, so yes, that will work just fine, it will allow the members to help in all possible ways, yet stay organized by having one 'manager' instead of 2 or 3.

But now as the head of Internal Affairs, I will scheme up some possible contests tonight, if all else fails I will organize and track a good old B/P contest. (Which will probably end up happening if I can't get the idea to work the way I want.) But I have some ideas that could be more interesting, I just don't want to throw them out without giving it all a complete thinking through and planning.

Then I will move onto spamming the hell out of my buddy list with links to get them to join, and whispering sweet nothings into their text box. As for now - Back to portal whoring for me, I want to earn my next badge before I level up.

Definately for! It should be fucking available to use now! I've been waiting over 6 months for a PM system and I know there won't be any thought on adding levels from the admins if they havn't got the PM system ready yet!
