Flash department end-of--week report
Well not a lot has happened in the department because we are so low on members but at least we got are first yesterday. Welcome General M-A-R-C-U-S - Portal Regular, it is a great honor having such a great user working alongside me. All we are waiting for now is a couple of more members and then hopefully the Flash department will become a lot more exciting!

This is since Wednesday as this is when I realized I had to do this report but the next one will span the whole week

As usual Friday is busier than the rest of the weekdays, anything around 200 on a Friday is usual so this was in pattern but the amount of entries deleted was extremely high probably because of people spamming the Portal with shitty movies

Well except the amount of deletions on the Friday it was a normal week on the portal

We do not concentrate on flash, their is a BBS and audio section and we just chat about different things we ARE NOT blam/protectors though the flash department has some elements of it.

I'm thinking that it would talke aboot equivalent to a quarter of the bandwidth that the BBS uses, so it shouldn't be too much. I doubt that the RG profile comment system uses too much bandwidth.

Umm, do you remember RedCircle's portal shit that he released around a year ago? Maybe more? He and another user had been collecting data on the portal for ages, and they compiled some pretty sweet info on when stuff was submitted.

Listed was that average amount of submissions submitted on each day of the week, month of the year, and hour of day.
If we found that (i dont know if it's still around), we could compare the data that we find in a week to those given by RC and make a comparrison.

I think we should organize times that each member is on NG if we want to do an hourly counting of submissions. So members of NG, post the usual times you come onto NG (NG time) and we will determine a schedule that will provide maximum efficiency and coverage.
