Not functional medal = broken medal.

That's the way it is.

So you got 3 options:

  1. Implement it properly;
  2. Remove it or
  3. it will be removed as broken anyway.

You could check the Newgrounds.io guides to find out how to add medals to different types of games.


There is no point in keeping a broken medal anyway. It will only make people downvote your submission.

Since I’m not planning to add the API any time soon, I’ll just delete them and the score so it wouldn’t cause any more trouble. Who knows, maybe it was resetting the encryption twice but not the medals and score that was causing the problem in the first place. I’ll try again once I have my other ducks in a row.

I decided to torture myself again with those bad controls and did like @FlamingDoom wrote: entered the last level having all the donuts collected on every level and then beat it with all donuts, yet the Perfectionist medal still did not unlock.

Yes, I can confirm it works - but it's VERY broken. It only unlocked on the 3rd time of completing the game. I had to delete my previous save file, then beat the game normally with 3 stars on each level and then it awarded in the final cutscene.

It has to be done in one sitting, and I think it also has to be the first time you complete the level it has to be 3 stars. Dying is fine though.

And adding the fact that Gamezhero never cared about the API disconnection it makes this medal even more broken...

Ok, I think I'm done with it. Stuck in the middle, because the longer you play the game the more lag you get and the less responsive the controls are becoming. And some of the levels cannot be passed without having a perfect control of jumping. I could think of one way to avoid that from happening, but... @TomFulp - why Gamezhero games cannot be run in NG Player?

thats kinda unfair for me i cant remove them and then my game gets destroyed but i wanted to upload an improved version

JimmyCarlos had contacted me but I decided to tell him that I will try to meddle with it and if not maybe he could help.

I fixed the ones in madness survival, all of the medals as far as i know are unlockable.
