You must be playing this game in incognito mode. When you play in incognito mode - you cannot click on "play", if you play in the normal mode of the browser - it works without problems.
Although I confirm that the medals are not working and it is probably the https-related issue.

I'll take a look at that, thanks for letting me know! It uses an old NG API file from @nutcasenightmare, which I don't think has been updated very recently, so that could also be an issue.

I agree with you. That medal can not be earned. Surprised it was not removed by a medal mod.

Similarly, none of the medals in "Fish And Destroy" are obtainable as that game has also been deleted. Note, do not confuse this game with the very similarly-named game "Fish & Destroy", which is not a deleted game and whose medals are fine.

I think it was a beta version of Fish & Destroy but instead of just replacing it, the author deleted the original Fish And Destroy and made a new Fish & Destroy.

That's a full 225 points of medals that need removing.

You would be surprised how many of them are out there... CXT mazes, old fortunacus games... I got a whole list of these games and these medals. The amount of points locked in them goes into thousands. Many thousands.
Believe me that if I would get access to them I would remove them all the very same day.
But I - or any other API or game moderator - got no tools to do it.

For the beginning: check my old list in this post of mine.

Check if anything of it is still in the system. Alien Wasp Invasion and Fish and Destroy is done - just noticed.
Two notes about the whole list:
1. I found a way to fix the issue with the Chalkboard Pong, I worked with the author at it and it is now fixed.
2. I also successfully PMed the author of the Mo'mentum and the medals from removed version are already removed.

These are not all anyway, since I made that list I found some more cases like these.

Hi guys. Thanks for calling this out. I honestly don't know if I still have the source for this game but I will dig out my archives this weekend and see if there's something I can do to rectify this. There is a game called Indie Jones by @seanjames and @devilsgarage with a secret medal that used to be called Voyeur (the one farthest to the right). Anyway, no one has been able to unlock it since 2016. All of the rest of the medals are pretty current. Voyeur seems to gets activated by clicking the About the Newgrounds Movie! link and watching the video there. Unfortunately the video no longer loads and it freezes the game so that you can't continue to play. I came across the same problem on all three browsers. It might have something to do with the changeover to https if the video is using http, which would make sense since the game was made in 2010.

You are welcome. Once you make a game with medals , you will have several hundred or more players trying to earn them. That is plenty of people who want to make sure the medals work.

NOTE 29/12/2016: Okay, bad news. The GML newgrounds api complete broke again about 13 hours ago, which caused a tone of errors and bugs in this game.

That game has had broken medals for sometime. I have played it before, and again recently. Both times I did not recieve the medals.

to be clear, the GML api wasn't an official one created by newgrounds. because of this, it's a little shaky- that's just how it goes. i had to disable them. i made that little game 2 years ago and have moved on. ill remove them, i guess, so that people dont get confused. sorry for the trouble!

The medals worked for me when the game first came out. They do not seem to be working now.
