Y'know what? It's the same with me. Whenever I read her lines, I just keep imagining this thick Russian accent -- instead of an Asian one. From now on, it'll be like this: "The Asian woman spoke with a deep russian accent, unnatural to her appearance" (I need to work out the line...).

As a matter of fact, I can. My cloning device can make an exact copy of anyone, given there's a DNA sample provided and the brain is intact. If the brain is destroyed, however, I can't completely restore a person's memories or personality unless a back-up copy has been made. Typically, one would come in once a week to have their brain scanned, then their synapses are mapped and memories are converted into files stored on the lab computer's hard drive.

By the way, I've got three days off starting this Tuesday. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to complete my next big experiment and do some work on the archives.

That seems about right man, I'm not one to even really give a shit in real life when I meet an apparent "hot girl" since looks only go so far. I'm more of one to analyze the hell out of someone than to just fall into their trap of beauty and deceit.

That's when you begin to worry about whether or not you're going to make it, which leads to bad xhoices. I didn't really think about it that way but it makes sense to go into a mission without fear, since it would lead to nothing more but full-blown ass-kickings! I can understand why one would not like to go in with fear though since it gives not only a chance for you to think twice about something, but it gives you a chance to question the mission, and we all know that once you get a mission, you don't question it, no matter what.

Although I am very glad to see you again, QUIT YER BITCHIN'. There are people that have been in here longer than I (And I've been here for a good long while, roughly the same as Prower...but he's a capo so nevermind) and they haven't gotten to capo. It's not like you can come in for a month or two and get that position. Although I do have my own scientific branch, which is the next best thing, so that suits me just fine, no complaints there. Besides, I'm not much of a main character, just kind of a background guy anyway, so still, no complaints.

I remember when we had a whole vote to see who would be the next capo when things were getting ugly around here -- I remember, I got like two votes. I was so happy. :D

But, I'm not sure if the capo title holds the significance it once did. In times prior, the drama was kept in check by Ghost, Strauss, and the Capos -- we held the system to make sure it was. Now that the drama's gone (thank God), what do the Capos serve as? They serve as the admission directors to the Mafia, and are always given the best parts in stories -- but it's not as big a deal as it used to be.

However, repeated cloning runs the risk of corrupting the DNA sample. An error in a single genetic base pair could eventually cause any number of problems, but an entire chromosome would probably have to be messed up before the subject mutates.

It sort of has -- Fragment came back (for a day...) as well. Still, I was never any sort of special member around here -- all I ever did was write stories and make super-long posts, which don't seem so long anymore by Newgrounds standards nowadays. :P

You're probably more now than you ever were before, simply because you're a veteran -- you've been here long enough to know what's going on. Truthfully, I thought it was disgusting and revolting as well, but Snype had specifically asked me something along the lines of "kill me so gruesomely that it would make a baby's head explode." I decided that rape was out of the picture (... seriously, that I even thought of that makes me sick), so I went with the next best thing -- blast off his balls. I think it made it easier for everyone to read that it was a woman in hot-bondage stuff that did it instead of a sick, gay man... I'm not sure why though. :D

This is the first time I ever used "blowing off the balls" in any of my stories. Or conversations. So, I don't think I'm beyond hope... yet. :P

I may not be able to fit you into the running storyline going on right now -- unless I have you being tortured, which I'm not sure if you'd want or not... yeah, I wouldn't either. :P

You're probably more now than you ever were before, simply because you're a veteran -- you've been here long enough to know what's going on. It seems the most of the people around the Mafia now have been here quite awhile -- for the most part, I think it's a bad thing... we need some new blood in the ranks, but it just isn't showing up.

I mean my whole time here Ghost only ever really said a couple of things to me. In my opinion you're not a vet until ghost remembers you and if he utters the words "we missed you" then you should ask why you ever left.

I don't really think the mafia needs new blood. Too much can be unsettling, people start getting ideas and try some 'power changes.' A couple of new members every now and again could be good but unless they are actually mafioso you're better just sticking with the trusted members you have. Whats the point in degrading the Mafia's name just so you can freshen things up?

I may not be able to fit you into the running storyline going on right now -- unless I have you being tortured, which I'm not sure if you'd want or not... yeah, I wouldn't either. :P

That's fine buddy, best you just stick with what works for you and keeps the story to what you want, because I don't want to get tortured just for the sake of appearing in a chapter. It's like Lotus says it's better the story remains in suspense rather than finishes in a way you're unhappy with.

I downloaded the thirty day trial of Flash while I try to think about a story ideal. Fun stuff.

I would never put myself down unless I'm comparing myself to someone else -- you're a better member than you might remember, Error. The fact that I remembered your name after having not even heard a word uttered from your account (or mine) for a year is pretty impressive, and it means that you left that much of an impression.

Oh, and I have no problem with my kind of post -- that sort of thing worked wonders when I used to post in the General (it became a sort of addiction, so I stopped... :P). People amazingly read what you have to say if you write more than one line -- we all go through that phase.

And the last thing I just wrote is one of the reasons I'm so disappointed that no one knew is joining up with the Mafia. If you ask me, I think they're intimidated by our "harsh" posting requirements and our mostly veteran user populace. Not that I have a problem with older members (myself being one), but I think it's sort of strange to see that almost everyone in this thread joined Newgrounds (at the latest) in 2006 (Snype) or earlier (everyone else). Considering that it's now 2008, you'd expect that we'd at least have some '07 members, but it seems that we only have old-timers hanging around.

You may not be the oldest veteran we have, but I'm pretty liberal on how I use veteran with regards to this thread. All of us are veterans -- we've been here at least longer than two hundred pages, and we know the ropes. A regular I would think would actually be higher than that -- it would mean that they actually come back. And then stay here.

Ghost never really says anything to anyone. He puts in nice jokes here and there and writes comments about various members (it used to be Ghost Phantom -- now it's Snype and his third nipple). Always funny though. :D

I can understand that, it makes sense that you would like to finish something you started and I am the same way really, once I start something I feel a great urge to finish it, no matter what.
