I was once the head attorney for the mafia (I got it on page 670... man, I'm feeling old...), and I wrote a bunch of stories. I haven't even posted on Newgrounds for awhile now, but I do check in on this thread from time to time.

Okay, back on topic. For my Creative Writing 20 class last semester, I wrote a story. There's also a story behind the story. People that have been here for a long time might remember that I was writing a science fiction epic. The story I submitted was basically a simplified version of the high point in that story. Now, I still do plan on tweaking and reposting this story with new characters (Plus I hated how I bullshitted around in the start, I'll get to the good stuff soon this time.) When I go through the story, I'll see who isn't around, and maybe replace characters appropriatley if some new guys send bios into me. (I won't replace Ocelot or Charlotte though, because I loved those guys and their personalities fit the parts they had so perfectly.)
...I got off track. I was actually going to post that segment that I submitted, but I convinced myself otherwise. Hehehe...

Thanks! I always made it my objective to give as much input as possible on stories here and I even wrote a brief one myself, nothing too great or anything but it has potential to become something great, I think will begin work on that again soon, good to see you around man! :)

Honestly l'm not even sure. Probably not though, l've been here for about 900 pages lol. But yeah l'm obviously not that active anymore, way to much shit on my plate right now, l only get about an hour on the computer every 5 days now. Having a life sucks i don't know why people make fun of those who don't. But yeah l'd like to see you more, not like anything l say has any weight though.

"I Am"
Electricity
Part I
The bar was noticeably empty. Only Lotus sat there, silently, sipping his beer - even the bartender had gone to bed. He glanced at his watch - it was quarter to three. "Two hours of drinking," he thought to himself. It was then that the dim bar lights flickered - and in a flash, they went out. The moon was full - there was enough light to see - but the entire villa had a sort of eerie feel to it as looked around to gain his bearings. As he looked around, he heard quick footsteps from far away. He drew a pistol from his side, and stood up from his seat.
It was at that moment, that a gunshot broke the stillness in the air. Lotus now ran towards the direction of the bullet, loading his gun as he moved. "It came from down there," he muttered aloud as he turned into the hallway, grunting and nearly out of breath.
He went to the room where he thought it must've come from - he opened the door to Ghost's room.
Ghost was spread across the ground, his back pointing up, in a pool of blood. Lotus gaped - even he wasn't expecting something this violent. He pushed the body over, to find that Ghost' sheart had been removed from his body. Blood splatters stained the carpets and the walls, and Lotus felt sick.
"What's going on here?" asked Snype as he burst into the room, grasping a shotgun in both hands - the gunshot had awoke him from his sleep. Seeing Lotus in the corner of the room, he aimed the shotgun upwards towards him. "... you didn't?" asked Snype suspiciously, as he took another glance at Ghost's body.
"I... I swear, I didn't do it!" exclaimed Lotus. He was scared now - Snype was known as one to shoot first, ask questions later. "Please! I didn't!"
"I guess...," muttered Snype, deciding to let reason take hold of him for once - but then he noticed Lotus's blood-stained hands. They had been covered in red when Lotus moved Ghost to see his chest - but the evidence in front of him was enough for Snype. "You fucking liar!" he screamed, firing both shells of his shotgun straight into Lotus's gut. Blood poured from Lotus's wounds, and he fell onto his knees, crying in pain.
Snype, sneering, tossed his shotgun aside, and pointed a pistol he had drawn at Lotus's head. "I'm embarrassed to have called you friend," Snype spoke softly, and pulled the trigger.

Part II
Ghost bled from his chest. A wound in the shape of a crater was where his heart once stood, and he was on his knees, coughing out blood, gasping for air.
"You fucking cunt!" he gasped, reaching an arm out for his attacker. But the man simply took a step backwards and laughed. "God damn you, Strauss!" Ghost cried, but the sound was muffled by the blood caught in his throat. Only a few seconds later, Ghost collapsed onto the floor, succumbing to his wounds.
"It was kinder than you deserved," Strauss spoke softly, chuckling to himself a little. "Finally - I am the Godfather." He looked at Ghost one last time, sneered, and ran off before anyone noticed.

Haha -- I offered to make a minor story collab the day I left. You and a few others responded, but I decided then that Newgrounds wasn't worth the trouble and I left for about a year or so. :P

Hm. I know that one of the main reasons I left NG for a time was that outside the Mafia, most of my favorite members had already left. But I wanted to write stories to annoy you all, so I couldn't resist. Seriously though, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out some of them had left.

When I first started to really be active around here, I noticed that if your post was on the bottom of the page, most of the time people wouldn't notice because things moved so fast.
I don't mind blood at all bro, I loved the story and how it all was incorporated, did you ever catch the "Ghost's Funeral" story a while ago? That one was amazing. ^.^

Not too many people at all are coming around anymore, I know theres been some disputes a while ago but nothing personal to make people really wish to leave. I know some people on NG have been resigning quite frequently recently but I've not known of anyone in the Mafia doing this.Hm. Dude, if you look back on the amount of members we used to have and the number of pages we would get compared to now, you would not believe how much some things have changed here. I mean, I remember when I would have to read through pages of posts to find one I had left earlier that day and now, I can scroll up and see things I posted a while ago, multiple things at that. :/
Yea, we could all give feedback and I bet it wouldn't even take up a page in doing so right now. Haha, I remember those times too. Sometimes one would have to make multiple posts to even be noticed since some would focus only on one conversation and it seems as if everything else said was just pushed between the cracks. :P

Sadly, I can't remember that at all, and I also remember a story of some Mafia member that was an expert at blades, was dancing, and killed someone in the middle of the dance by cutting them up. I really miss some of those stories and I guess I could go back in the thread and find them but does anyone know if the stories were archived on the Mafia site? Also, can someone send me the link (PM preferred since it will keep out unwanteds) to the site. Thanks in advance.

But, part of me thinks this is for the better. There's little or no drama anymore, and it's sort of refreshing to be in here relaxing. When I first joined, there was this huge controversy about... something. I don't really care anymore, but in the end, we had this huge mega-vote on who should be the newest capo (it carried more weight then, I'm noticing... :P), and one person tried to get a Retrogade member in... it was some crazy stuff.
But this... this is so much better. xD

Our main site is the FAQ site for who's in charge of what and such. It's listed in Boris signature (seen here). Strauss said about five pages back that he was making an archive site -- the link I put down in my last post wasn't where he linked to, but where the archive now re-directs to. :/

When I looked at it earlier today, the host server said it was upgrading to Yuku forums or something. No idea what that means.
