Hali and Johnson made the Pro Bowl. HELL YES!

They have both had amazing seasons. Hell the defense has been the most effective part of our game this year in KC. Hoping to finish of Tebow and the Playoff hopes for the Broncos.

One more post about the SEC and I'll ban him until after the Championship game. >:)

Speaking of, the Champs Sports Bowl has become interesting. FSU finally woke up in the 4th or Norte Dame let things slip away. Either way it's better than I expected.

The Alamo Bowl has certainly been exciting on offense, especially for Washington who is litterly carving up Baylor's defense for 35 points in the first half. It probably wouldn't surprise me if this game does become the highest scoring bowl game this season.

At the half, it's 35-24 Washington, any chance that either team score 60 points?

I didn't know the Arena Football League sponsored a bowl game. :P I'm surprised about Washington's offense I didn't know they could really hang with Baylor.

BYU and Rutgers won today. Music City Bowl is on with middle of the pack ACC vs. middle of the pack SEC. Should be good.

Although, it could use some more cowbell.

Oklahoma is shutting out Iowa 14-0 going into halftime.

Earlier in the season, it look like Oklahoma was the one team that could challenge and possibly beat whoever the SEC champion was, but after the game with Texas Tech {still don't know how did Tech beat them in Norman TBH.} and losing Broyles for the season, the season simply went downhill from there. Simply put, it's a what could have been story for the Sooners.

Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

That's even worse! Wow... what awful fucking fans.

At least we're in the playoffs, which means you were wrong with your cocky prediction a few weeks ago. Problem, Browns fan? You guys are the only AFC North team that aren't playing football after today. How does that feel?

And really, we sold out that stadium for a long time and stopped going after the economy worsened and we were tired of watching Mike Brown screw us. Fans not going to games is really not a good arguing point. Just accept the fact that our team did better this year. You guys can try again next season and will hopefully have a better record. Who knows?

Inb4 Travis claiming he was being an ironic troll or kidding around. I'm sure he'll also bring up the fact that the Bengals haven't won a playoff game in forever and will ignore the fact that Cincy would go up against Houston again, which could easily go either way.

Also, Rev, do the playoff games count towards the total pick em totals? Or is the post-season different from the regular season? I can't remember the exact procedures.

It feels like a better draft pick than every AFC North team... I was wrong. I figured that there was no way the Jets would drop the ball like they did. I figured Tebow would come up clutch. I figured Jokeland would pull off a victory.

The Browns are piss-poor at drafting talent, about the only good draft picks they have made in the last 5 years or so was Joe Haden and Joe Thomas. Other than that, it's been pretty bad. I will admire you for spinning the situation of the Browns to a positive note, but that's like being the 4th friend that didn't get a date while the other 3 did.

Poor excuse. People are going out to fine dining restaurants, ordering take out, and a shit ton of other things that cost more than cooking at home, you can't tell me people can't afford to do shit.

You would be plenty surprised on how much single game tickets would cost to an NFL game, much less the food, drink and parking prices are at in an NFL stadium. Plus, with a lot of people and bars having HDTV's and whatnot, people think that it's much more worth it to watch it on TV {assuming they have Sunday Ticket.} than go to a game with angry, drunken fans breathing down their neck.

But I love this. Every time I bring up points I disregard my team, they speak for themselves... what can I say? Pat Shurmur is a joke of an Offensive Coordinator and a coach. We saw it this year with awful time out management, awful playcalling, and an overall look of "fuck guys... I'm lost."

How long did that take you to figure that out? It's not like they haven't been doing this for years now under Mangini and Crennel.

Not a single Bengal fan can tell me that at the start of the year, they thought they were going to the playoffs. I think even the most overconfident, pretentious, "know-it-all" in the entire football crew... Mr. Orangebomb even predicted a 5-11 year for the joke of a team you guys have.

One thing you have correct is that I did say that the Bengals would go 5-11 in the beginning of the season. But once they started to reel off wins during the middle, they could potentially win the AFC North division, of course getting swept by both the Steelers and Ravens and having a couple of bad losses during the season ended any possibility of that.

As for the rest of what you said, I must respectfully disagree, considering I never said that this Bengals team would make a SB, much less a playoff appearence, and the rest of the stuff you've just mention is your opinion alone, and I'll keep it at that.

I remember the last time the Browns made the playoffs... we were all disappointed because we needed help... we couldn't do it on our own. But being the typical fans you guys are, you are overjoyed with not getting the job done, but still slipping through.

I'm not exactly jumping for joy that Cincy needed help to get the wild card spot, but at least we got in where everyone, {including myself} said that they wouldn't. But I guess that doesn't matter to you in the end.

All in all, it's okay... this playoff spot means that you guys are further back in the draft order. You aren't winning the Super Bowl and now you guys should be nervous about next year because now, the NFL has a year's worth of film on the Rusty Rifle.

And you make it sound like it's a bad thing. We have actually drafted very well over the last 5 years or so from wherever we were selected to pick, unlike some other teams that I won't mention. As for us being nervous that the NFL has film on Dalton, well all I can say is that teams have over 10 years of tape on Tom Brady, and only Benard Pollard and the '07 Giants has been able to stop him effectively, not comparing Dalton to Brady by any stretch of the imagination, but you get my point.

But of course, anything less than the Super Bowl is okay with you guys because "at least we were there."

Every team in the NFL, no matter how shitty they are, aspire to win the Super Bowl, but the reality is that there are really only 6 or 7 teams compete for the title {according to the experts that is}, and the rest play out of draft picks, that doesn't mean that there can't be a surprise team that can win it all. {'07 Giants and last year's Packers as an example.} Naturally, I would be disappointed if the Bengals don't win it all, but at the same time, we have made huge progress into achieveing that goal.

At the start fo the year, no Bengal fan expected a winning record. NONE. Yet, you guys act like it's normal and you were always this good.

We had talented players and a good defense, {when healthy} you have to admit that much, but when Palmer had his bitchfit and the WR experiment from last year didn't work out as planned, we took a step back. We had really no choice but to get rid of Ocho and Palmer for draft picks and cut T.O. from the roster, and rebuild from there. It just so happens that Dalton, Green and our defense stepped up their game and got us to the playoffs, where no one said we could.

Either way, Bengals fans... as usual are jokes, simply because they are satisfied with the notion of "almost."

And Browns fans are satisfied with their past which is used as a crutch in any argument against Cincinnati. In short, Browns talk about the past, {Jim Brown, Kosar}, Ravens and Steelers think of the present, and the Bengals think for the future. But then again, whatever makes you sleep at night I guess.

Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

It's a lost cause man. Just stop acknowledging him and his arguments. If he wants to hate on the Bengals, that's his choice. He's just trying to provoke us and he's doing a fairly good job of it. Just stop listening to him. He's stubborn and won't ever change, so why bother? In his world, OSU rules and the Bengals suck. That's it. He's even said it himself: He's not right in the head.

At the end of the day, I like looking at the facts. The Bengals are in the 2012 playoffs and I believe that they can beat the Houston Texans since Houston has been on a three-game losing streak. I think the Bengals would be wise to look into their last game with them and see how they can improve on it. I'm almost positive that they can be on the winning end of the coin this time...

It's kind of funny that we were left for dead when we lost to the Texans, and now the Texans are now the ones who are the walking wounded. Losing your top 3 QBs in a season doesn't really help their situation either.

I think the Bengals would be wise to look into their last game with them and see how they can improve on it. I'm almost positive that they can be on the winning end of the coin this time...

They did everything right except for winning the game, and now that the Texans have possibly a 4th string QB starting, {Delhomme} there should be no reason why the Bengals should lose this game, even with Andre Johnson out on the field.

Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowl tonight. Oregon and Wisconsin is going to be an okay match up. I just see Oregon as the better team and they will play like it. Of course the Ducks are already winning the fashion battle with their helmets. (below)

Fiesta, is going to be interesting. I want to see which team can stop the other. it might just be a bigger shoot out than the Alamo Bowl. I think the Pokes will win it.

Outback Bowl is in 2OT and oh and Ohio State lost in the Urban Myer Bowl.

With All-Pro team coming up, what players do you think will make it?

Rodgers and Brees are pretty much the locks on first and second team. Charles Woodson should be able to punch his third first team berth of his career.

The only player in the Giants who will make the team is JPP who is pretty much the defense of the team, especially when Osi and Tuck have trouble staying healthy this season and the weak LB corps were hit as well.

I know Jared Allen of the Vikings will make it, having 22 sacks makes it a lock.
