It's going to be the most anticlimax week of college football this Saturday.
Bring on LSU vs Alabama II!
I'm going laugh my ass off if it doesn't happen.
Unfortunately, Duke might be right here. LSU and Alabama are the 2 best teams in the nation, and even if LSU loses in the title game, they will still go in anyways. Okie State had their chance, and blew it against Iowa State. Title contenders don't lose to a team like Iowa State, no matter the circumstances.
It's conference championship week, and I'll put in my thoughts on what I believe is the best week of college football {regular season that is.}
Pac-12: I really don't have much to say about this. Oregon wins in a landslide. Sad thing is that if UCLA loses, they still get in a bowl game despite having a losing record, and if somehow they win, then they go to the Rose Bowl with 6 losses. Either way, they'll get whacked in a bowl game anyways.
Big Ten: My head says Wisconsin should win, but my gut says Michigan State. I'm going with my head here and go with Wisconsin, and they better not disappoint this time like they always do. If Wisconsin ever wants to be treated seriously with the likes of Michigan, Nebraska, or to a lesser extent Ohio State in the Big 10, then they need to win this game and the Rose Bowl in a convincing fashion.
SEC: This is a win-win for LSU, if they win, they win the SEC and go to the national title game undefeated, and even if they lose, they'll still get in anyways. I'm going with LSU to win, because as good as Georgia has played since starting 0-2, they haven't faced a buzzsaw like LSU, and I fear that this game won't be pretty unless the Tigers don't show up to play.
Big 12: Not a championship game per se, but it might as well be a championship game for the Big 12 in Stillwater. Ever since Oklahoma lost Broyles, they haven't been the same team, and I don't think they have enough to overcome Oklahoma State, especially at their place. I would imagine that the Cowboys are going to be a little angry that they slipped up against Iowa State, and it wouldn't surprise me if the Pokes win by a huge margin. {Sorry, rev}
C-USA: Houston will win this game. Even if they do win this game and get to the BCS bowl game, they will most likely run into a buzzsaw once they get there, and well, get creamed.
ACC: I almost forgot about these guys. I've got to go with Virginia Tech on this one, partly due to the fact that Clemson fell off the map after starting so hot early on. It seems like Va Tech is pretty much the only ones who want to win that conference anyways, especially when Florida State and Miami can't seem to get off the ground for some reason. {Not that Va Tech would care, but still.}
