Either way, anyone see Tim Tebow's debut? Not to shabby.

No, it wasn't. It was very close to being shit though. His touchdown should have been intercepted, and he threw quite a few up for grabs, but we'll see how he progresses.

The Browns are indeed pushing brown if you know what I mean.

They have been doing just that since they returned in 1999, and more than likely, they'll still continue to do that in the near future.

The Bengals should be renamed "Caspian Tiger".

I've would have gone with "runaway train wreck of the Ohio River", but caspian tiger works well enough.

This Monday night game has turned into a laugher now, the first outdoor game in Minnesota since the early 80s, and the Vikings are wishing that they are back in the dome right now, because the Bears, and especially Devin Hester, are carving up the Vikings in the cold, which they haven't gotten used to yet.

What's that? The Bears have won the NFC North and they knocked Favre out of the game? Christmas came early.

And just like most players in the NFL I'm going to remember what they did wrong. If Brett Favre would have retired years ago I would have remembered him as a super star. Since he didn't I'm going to remember him as the old pervert.

Hillis is good and I didn't say he wasn't. There's nothing worse than a running back that fumbles though. I'll take a mediocre back that gets the yards and keeps the ball in his hands over the guy that fumbles in every other game that he plays. I'm sure he'll get better though. It's his first year being a full time runner so I'm sure he's not use to carrying the ball that many times.

Way to "take the high road" by calling me an upset child who is bitching. A "calm down man" would have sufficed.

I call them as I see them.

I was assuming with your bad ass attitude that you would have been able to handle the comment. Now that I see you were just an angry fan who was upset that their team lost I'll take the high road again and say sorry.

Are you sure man? Add about 40 more yards of dropped passes and the dropped pass in the endzone and you have a quarterback that threw for about 200 yards while completing about 60% of his passes, 2 passing touchdowns, 70 rushing yards, and a score on the ground.

I know that we could do what ifs all day with almost any game, but he did better than the stats show. I think it was a not too shabby performance personally.

I admit it the end result wasn't to shabby, and it was raining pretty bad for a while, but some of his throws had about as much power behind them as someone like you or I could get. I'm honestly not judging him yet, because I don't see why everyone's insistent rookie QBs play all of a sudden. For every Sam Bradford and Payton Manning for whom starting early worked out for, there's a Tim Couch that got ruined by overexposure. Don't worry though, I'm just being a bit of a skeptic in case things don't work out as well as I hope.

A bounce back from last time, time to finish strong.

Week 16 Schedule:

Thursday:

CAR @ PIT

Steelers, 'nuff said.

Saturday:

DAL @ ARI

I'm going with the Cowboys easily, Arizona plays no defense whatsoever.

Sunday:
NYJ @ CHI

Going with the Bears at home.

NE @ BUF

Patriots, hands down.

DET @ MIA

Going with the Lions on the road, Miami is bad at home for some reason.

WAS @ JAC

Jacksonville bounces back at home.

SF @ STL

I'm going with St. Louis.

BAL @ CLE

I've got the Ravens, their defense is too much for Hillis.

TEN @ KC

If I'm not mistaken, Kansas City wins the AFC west with a win, and they'll do just that at home.

HOU @ DEN

Going with the Texans.

IND @ OAK

As long as #18 is QB, anything is possible. I have to go with the Colts on this one.

SD @ CIN

San Diego

SEA @ TB

Going with Seattle in a mild upset.

NYG @ GB

Going with the Giants on this one, I think they learned their lesson from last week.

MIN @ PHI

Philadelphia, and this one is going to be a laugher.

Monday:

NO @ ATL

Got to go with the home team, Atlanta.

The NFC west is a joke, because the division winner may be 7-9, and would host a playoff game. Frankly, they shouldn't have the right to be in the playoffs in the first place having that bad of a record, much less a home playoff game. At least the AFC west is somewhat more competitive compared to the NFC West, {or as I like to call them, the NFC Worst.}

Steelers. On Thursday, not as hypothetical superbowl champions.

Before the season started I picked the Ravens, so I don't want to deviate from that, but if I'm being honest I'm not sure I see anyone beating the Patriots if they keep the pedal down.

Falcons/Saints probably the best of the NFC right now. Might know more after their game.

Five Ohio St. players suspended for the first five games of next year. Including Pryor. Suspensions were for selling championship rings from when they won the Big 10, and a few other awards Pryor won. I love how the suspensions aren't for the Sugar Bowl, where they would totally lower viewership. The NCAA is the most hypocritical thing on the planet. I don't understand why you get suspended if you aren't the stereotypical 'broke college student'. They can't get a part time job because of football, so they're supposed to just be okay with having no money? It's total crap. I hope they all go pro and it doesn't change their draft prospects much, because the NCAA is full of it.

NCAA have been doing this for a long time, especially since the issue they have with "illegal benefits". It's almost as ridiculous as the Academy having issues with actors selling their Oscars.

IMO, Ohio State has been playing fast and loose with the NCAA rulebook for years, they just haven't been caught with anything until now, and frankly I am a little suprised, but at the same time, I feel like they deserved it. First off, why in the hell would Pryor and the others sell their rings, awards and other stuff, you would think that they would treasure those items, at least until they get to the pros. Not to mention the fact that the NCAA will eventully catch wind of this, and punish them for selling their gear to others, which is an obvious no-no if your a college player.

Both Ohio State and the NCAA are some of the most dumbest and inept organzations out there, and this little incindent proves my point. The university and the football team needs to realize that just because your high and mighty, doesn't mean you can do whatever you want and expect to get away scot-free.

As for the NCAA, the dumb fuckheads who cling to a rhetoric that isn't true at all, not to mention the paradox of student athletes and the fact that the NCAA and the schools gets shitloads of money, and the players get jack squat. Apprently, they also care about ratings, because they won't suspend them for the Sugar Bowl, but for the first 5 games of their goddamn cupcake schudule in 2011, which shows that the NCAA must be kissing Gordon Gee's stupid ass, while going after other schools that either made an honest mistake or even done nothing at all.

Terrelle Pryor is looking like a bigger dumbass every day, and if I were him, I would go straight to the pro draft, even though he is a skinnier version of JaMarcus Russell, and I can say the same for the others who are suspended as well. The Buckeyes are going to lose a lot of talent next year, and if they do decide to stay, then they may end up with 4 or even 5 losses next year, and look even worse than now. I hope that Arkansas beats the living shit out of Ohio State, because the Buckeyes need a kick in the ass badly, and to be knocked down a few pegs, seriously.

Most of us are focused on the last 2 weeks of the NFL season, but I agree that some college bowl game discussion would be a good idea, especially to get the bad taste out of OSU's little screwup out of our minds, {which won't happen quickly, but I'll move on from their symphony of stupidity.} Not to mention that these are the early bowls, where unless you're a huge college football fan, or a fan of a team that went to that particular bowl game, then most people won't give a rat's ass.

Most of us also picked our bowl game winners earlier this month as well, I'm a little surprised that you didn't mention your Bowl picks, Cootie.

Let me get this started off since this game comes on today; who do you think will win between Tulsa and Hawaii? I am going with Hawaii on this one.

I had Hawaii too, but it isn't really looking so good for them. Although, I usually don't pay too much attention to the small time bowls before Christmas, the matchups aren't really that exciting to me only because most of them are teams from the smaller conferences with records at or slightly above the Mendoza line.

War Eagle, and I hope every SEC team wins their bowl game.

I can see every SEC team winning their bowl games, except for Mississippi State. Michigan's got much more to play for IMO, and in this case, I got to back up my team.

Down with the BCS!

As far as Bowl Games are concerned I only care about 3

Mainly, I plan to watch Wisconsin (hopefully) steamroll over TCU, a team that I think will be overwhelmed by the sheer power of Wisconsin's run game and it's efficient passing. I see a 24-17 Victory for Wisconsin.

The National Championship with Oregon and Auburn, I'm simply picking Oregon because of their high speed offense having more diversity and punch than Auburn, though both should put up the points. I'd say this game could easily end up in the 50's in terms of score but it won't be a blowout for either side.

Lastly, with Nevada playing BC and me living in Nevada I hope to see the Wolf Pack put that big run game to work and beat up BC.

Damn, it seem like every team I picked except for Boise State, smoked a bowl before they played their bowl game {lol}.
