Indianapolis at Tennessee-

I'm going with the Colts, even with all of their injuries, they are still better than the Titans which are falling apart.

Cleveland at Buffalo -

Browns win, and they shouldn't have that much trouble against a hapless Buffalo team.

Cincinnati at Pittsburgh -

Yeah, I'm going with the Steelers in a low scoring boring game. I just hope that Cincy doesn't embarrass themselves yet again.

Green Bay at Detroit -

Detroit has been in almost every game this season, but I have the Packers on the road.

NY Giants at Minnesota -

We don't even know that Brett Farve is going to start, although it doesn't really matter, the Giants win easily.

Tampa Bay at Washington -

Tampa Bay bounces back against a dysfuctional Redskins team.

Atlanta at Carolina -

Is this a joke?, because the Falcons are going to wipe out Carolina.

Oakland at Jacksonville -

I'm a believer in the Raiders, I'm going with Oakland on the road.

Seattle at San Francisco -

I've got the Seahawks, someone has to win the NFC West, after all.

St. Louis at New Orleans -

This is a great matchup between 2 QB's, but I have to go with Brees and the Saints.

Miami at NY Jets -

No way the Jets have 2 horrible games in a row, they'll bounce back at home.

Denver at Arizona -

The Broncos have a new coach, which means they'll win this game.

Kansas City at San Diego -

Got to go with the Chiefs, that running game is too much for San Diego to handle.

New England at Chicago -

Why this isn't a Sunday or Monday Night game, I'll never know. New England wins in a close match against a strong Bears defense.

Philadelphia at Dallas - Eagles

Eagles will wipe out the Cowboys, Philly is too fast on offense and is pretty good on defense.

---
Baltimore at Houston -

Baltimore should have no trouble winning by carving up a piss poor Houston pass defense.

I agree with everyone of these picks. These are mine as well. Sorry for being so boring, but I really don't want to type it all out if someone else already has them up.

I'm hoping that since Denver has finally gotten rid of their coach that maybe with what they have now can start winning some games. But for them to be a strong contender next year they will need a lot more then just a coaching change. Cause the o-line could use a lot of work as well as the running game and recievers. But their defense is what Denver has always been known for and still is strong today. But a few tweaks here and there and the Broncos could be a strong team once more.

I don't mean to sound rude at all, but I kind of think the exact opposite direction is the one Denver needs to go in, lol. Their entire offensive line is finally cohesive and only going to get better with two rookies, and the other three being between year three and five. I think Moreno might be a little overrated, but I think he still has a chance to prove me wrong about that. I admit the receivers could use some work, but the defense gets no pressure on the other QB at all, causing the constant long completions we see them give up. The window for the secondary is closing fast, and we really need a better inside backer than Mario Maningham, IMO.

If I remember correctly, Elvis Dumerville, who was their premier pass rusher, was gone for the season with a torn pec before the preseason. When Elvis went down, then I knew that Denver's season was going down the drain before it started, considering how bad they tanked the second half of last season, and had such a shitty draft, *cough* Tim Tebow *cough*. They do have some good players on the team, but Josh McDaniels got too much of the power of the team, and his playcalling was extremely predictable both on offense and defense, that's why the team fell apart.

I also don't remember Mario Manningham playing defense or even being on the Broncos team, I think you meant somebody else. Now, if we can find some pass rushers for my Bengals, then we wouldn't be in the situation they are in now, and possibly a new QB.

Good news for you, Cam Newton won the Heisman, and won it in a landslide over Luck, James and the other guy. As for the allegations, it seems like Cam and Auburn is in the clear for now, as long as they don't find any smoking gun evidence from here on out, and I hope they don't. The NCAA can be real dicks about punishing schools for even the most trivial bullshit, {the "extended practice" time fiasco at Michigan is a good example.}

Speaking of Michigan, Why didn't Denard Robinson got an invite is beyond me, considering he only set the CFB rushing record for a QB in a season, against tough Big Ten competition no less, compared to Kellen Moore who had huge numbers playing against a bunch of shitty WAC schools who play no defense {except for Nevada.} Maybe I'm speaking out of a frustrated fan's point of view, but I still believe that Denard got snubbed this year, and I expect that he would be {if he stays healthy}, the Heisman winner for 2011, or at least a heavy favorite.

Shit, I don't know how I typed Mario Manningham, I meant
Mario Haggan. Of course without Dumerville, we were bound to have trouble getting to the passer, but beyond him pass rush has been a habitual problem for us for years. A pro bowl type secondary can only cover so long.

And I do agree Josh McDaniels had too much control, I just think we should've been working on our defense last draft, not getting Cutler and Marshall replacements that are going to need time to develop anyways. And yes, we got pretty predicable on offense (I will never know how playaction passes kept working for like three months before anyone figured out we don't run the ball at all), but my main point was we invested so much into our offense already, while don't have a championship defense in the slightest.

Well the Giants/Vikings game is postponed today due to the heavy snow collapsing the roof of the metrodome, ironically enough if the game were to be played today Brett Favre said he wouldn't be able to go so i guess either God really wants the streak to go on or it's either Brett Favre plays or nobody plays.

They found that Cecil Newton did try to get money for his son to go play at Mississippi St. but have yet to find evidence that Cam knew of it because he apparently gave his father the full decision on which school he went to which of course would have been based on if they got money or not. The FBI is still investigating it and if they do find that he knew about what his father was doing, he'd have to give the Heisman back. Just think if Mississippi St gave them the money too and this came out. You'd probably be calling for his head if you found out his second choice was Auburn because of that.

Wut. Aren't there people out there getting murdered and shit?

Raiders lost a heartbreaker to the Jags today and it would appear our season is just about done. There's so many positive things to build off of this year though, and we finally broke that 6 win barrier. Hopefully we can win 2 of our next 3 and roll into next year. We'd have to win all 3 and get a lot of luck to even be considered for the playoffs. The Chiefs are just too far up, even if San Diego beats them today, which I assume is what'll happen.

Ha, hilarious comment on the Chiefs/Chargers page on the nfl website. I hope it's a troll since it's obvious the two teams play the same exact teams as each other.

at least chiefs has hard teams to play and the chargers play weak teams so everybody can see that the chiefs are the better team and you can't argue that!!!!

Indeed they can be. Also, I never thought that Boise should be ranked high as they were. They play in a conference that isn't even a "real" conference and I would be willing to bet if they were placed in the SEC that they would be equal to Kentucky at best. The Broncos had no business being ranked as high as they were given the fact that Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina, and LSU could crush them by 30 points.

For shame BCS... for shame.

Thank you, I get a huge amount of flak from a lot of people where I live {Ohio} that say that Boise State and TCU should be mentioned in the National Title game, and the sweet irony of this is that most of them are die hard Buckeye fans, who seem to get a BCS bowl bid every fucking year, even when they really don't deserve one IMO. Ohio State fans are arguably the most illogical and starry eyed fans in College football because they live off of Woody Hayes' coattails for so damn long, and think another one is coming to Columbus soon. Face the facts, Buckeye fans, Hayes has been dead for nearly 25 years, and you haven't won a National title {without the ref's help} in 42 years, and your 0-8 against the SEC as well, I just can't understand college football sometimes.

Ok, now since I torched Ohio State, I'll get back to the NFL:

New England won easily, which I was a bit surprised to see. Good luck to the Packers without Aaron Rodgers, because I don't see them getting within 28 points. If this keeps up, then I guess we should worship Tom Brady as a football god.

The Metrodome's roof fell under a shitload of snow, which I guess either Odin wants to see Brett Farve continue his streak {as do I}, or the Vikings really need a new stadium really badly, my guess is a little bit of both.

Both Ohio teams lost today, which frankly I kind of expected, even though I picked Cleveland to beat Buffalo, and in typical Cleveland fashion, found a way to tank that game. Next week, the Browns go to Cincinnati, and play the even more hopeless Bengals. If Cincinnati doesn't beat the Browns at home, then I might go insane.

Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.
