That and thinking and being up 3-0 having sent the Steelers 3 and out on their first 2 drives (Oh man, we got this!) were the only satisfying things in the whole game for me. It was pretty much a street fight. Penalty every single play it seemed like.

I don't know who on the Raiders staff thought it was a good idea to keep throwing the ball into the teeth of the Steeler Defense with a QB like Campbell, who has proven mostly inept. D-Mac, probably their biggest playmaker and among the best in the NFL, only got 14 carries. 14 carries in a 60 minute game. What? I don't care who this defense is, you give the ball to your playmaker, if he can't run it you throw it to him, you get him the ball and you make chances to win.

Looked a lot like that Bears/Dolphins game last thursday lol

So Brad Childress finally got fired today after that embaressment against Green Bay losing 34-3,that locker room is more fucked up than the Dallas Cowboys ever were and well it's more than likely season over for Favre & the Vikings.

Also as of right now i'm 12-3 in my picks this week, feels good man. ^_^

Just like the good old days of the 70s with the Raiders and Steelers, where there were just as many penalties on both teams as D-Mac's running attempts in the game. I'll agree with Gobble here, the Raiders needed to get the ball to McFadden a lot more than they did. The running game wasn't going to get too far, but with that said, they could've passed the ball to him in space and let him loose.

I'm still pissed about the Cincinnati loss to Buffalo. In all honesty, that was a gimme game for the Bengals and they still lost. As I said before, Marvin Lewis needs to be fired now for that disgraceful performance in the second half where they simply quit. Mike Zimmer should be the interim head coach and see how it goes from there, because Lewis is simply not getting the job done.

There seems to be some sort of Manning injury curse going on this year. Everyone on Peyton and Eli's teams are dropping like flies.

Picks for Week 12:

New England vs. Detroit: I've got New England winning easily.

New Orleans vs. Dallas: New Orleans wins big against a sorry Dallas team.

Cincinnati vs. New York Jets: New York, no question. As long as Lewis is still coaching this team, he'll find a way to fuck up this team.

Green Bay vs. Atlanta: Going with the Dirty Birds {Atlanta} at home.

Tennessee vs. Houston: Despite what's going on in Tennessee, I still have them winning big this week.

Minnesota vs. Washington: A slight upset here, I'm going with Minnesota.

Jacksonville vs. New York Giants: Giants will bounce back here

Pittsburgh vs. Buffalo: Steelers win easily, The Bills' luck runs out here.

Carolina vs. Cleveland: Holy Shit, I'm going with Cleveland. If they don't win this game, then the Browns should lay down for the rest of the season, seriously.

Kansas City vs. Seattle: Got to go with the Chiefs on this one.

Miami vs. Oakland: Oakland Raidahz get back on track with a win.

St. Louis vs. Denver: I've got St. Louis easily, Denver has no defense whatsoever.

Indianapolis vs. San Diego: Colts in a shootout, I don't know why they struggle against SD so much, but it ends here.

San Francisco vs. Arizona: San Francisco will have no trouble demolishing Arizona.

Bonus Picks:
Auburn over Alabama
Oklahoma State over Oklahoma
Michigan over the Blohio State Suckeyes. {It's about time.}

So, looks like I got all of my Thanksgiving picks right. Wheee.

Still upset the Bengals lost. Why do they always look so good until the very end, when they just collapse into nothing?

Anyone else looking forward to this weekend in college football? The iron bowl, a few conference championships on the line, you know nothing big.

Wisconsin has a chance to finish strong and take the Big 10 against Northwestern

But Northwestern is never a gimme game

It will be interesting

I forgot to pick 2 games in my earlier post, my bad.

Tampa Bay vs. Baltimore: Going with the Ravens at home

Philadelphia vs. Chicago: I've got the Eagles in a close game

So far, I'm 3-0 with the Thanksgiving picks, and of course the Bengals lost {no surprise there.}, Although the Detroit game was probably the best game yesterday IMO, for the first 3 quarters at least. As for the middle game, New Orleans should have won that game easily, considering Dallas wasn't going to make the playoffs, and the Saints did had a big lead at halftime. As good as the Saints offense is, their defense is certainly overrated, and that will pose a problem if they make the playoffs. And the last game was a laugher to say the least, 'nuff said.

I see everyone picking Philly over Chicago, but I have to say the prospect of facing that Bears D on the road is daunting for Philly.

I expect Urlacher and Briggs to dominate in the middle, but we'll see if Vick can throw it up when running won't be as readily available.

The Chargers and Giants may be ranked higher, but I don't think there are defenses much better than Chicago

Of course, I could be horribly wrong and they could get embarrassed at home. Which would be fine with me because then the Packers will be winning the division.

That may be, but unlike most of the other teams that Chicago has faced before, Philly's offense is a speedy and explosive offense, which the Bears D has struggled to contain from time to time, especially if their pass rush is not there.

I expect Urlacher and Briggs to dominate in the middle, but we'll see if Vick can throw it up when running won't be as readily available.

Philadelphia largely doesn't have a north to south runner, rather they rely on LeSean McCoy, who is mostly a speedy, east to west type of runner. As for Michael Vick, he'll won't be relying too much on scrambling, considering how accurate he is from the pocket, and the times when he does run, he'll run towards the outside.

The Chargers and Giants may be ranked higher, but I don't think there are defenses much better than Chicago

The Chargers defensive stats are somewhat misleading.

The main reason why the Chargers have the best defense in the NFL is because they often have less field to defend than normal, due in large part because of their shitty special teams play. Chicago may be the most consistant defense in terms of stats, but I would favor the Giants D slightly more because of their fierce pass rush, which seems to take out QBs.

Of course, I could be horribly wrong and they could get embarrassed at home. Which would be fine with me because then the Packers will be winning the division.

If Jay Cutler doesn't turn the ball over, then I can see Chicago making a game out of this, but I still have Philadelphia winning this game because of Michael Vick and their explosive offense overpowering the Bears D.

What a joke

There's a reason for that. The Bears run Cover 2 defense which is basically where you let the receiver's run hook routes in front of the DBs to create an easy catch and then tackle them. It supposedly is a system that's designed to make the other team have longer drives and give more chances at turnovers which the Bears have always been decent at getting, but it's still very frustrating to watch. I expect Philly's offense to plow through it.

I think Vick is going to use his legs to open up options deep, beat the Bears on a couple big plays, then Chicago will implode like they have done a few times this year. They've just somehow won a couple of them. I still don't know how the Redskins managed to play worse than the Bears that game. Ridiculous. And the Bears D isn't THAT impressive. They're great against the run, but a good unconventional passing offense like the Eagles shouldn't have much of a problem moving the ball. I see them scoring at least 24. We'll see if Cutler can at least have his leading receiver be on his team this game. Lol.
