I don't want to look past Illinois though because they give us trouble... whether we are #1 or unranked they like to jerk us around.

The Big Ten is a joke this season.

Alas, at least we have the basketball season to look forward to as usual...

Witht he way the Giants special team coverage and the defense have been letting receivers go wide open, it's a surprise that the Steelers didn't score as much as they could have.

Here's hoping the Falcon's record remains intact for this week, we're counting on them.

Atlanta stays golden. ;)

I'm thinking they'll go undefeated until they play Tampa Bay. Then they'll lose in a surprising upset.

If that happens, then if they makes it to the SB, their opponent better have lost a game to the Bucs or the Jets. If not, the Falcons will have no chance of winning the game.

The Colts weren't savvy enough when they decided to throw that game against the Jets in 2009.

All the more reason why Atlanta should attempt to go undefeated in the regular season, I always hate it when teams tank a game or two because they clinched a bye, and think that having a loss will help them re-focus for the playoffs, which is absolute bullshit.

Just look at Green Bay last year as an example. To borrow a Skyrim joke, Packers took an arrow{head} to the knee against the Chiefs last year, but still went 15-1 and a bye in the playoffs. That didn't help them at all when Eli kicked their asses again en route to another Super Bowl.

I predicted a 28-6 Colts win over Jaguars tonight, I'm a bit off as of right now it is 24-3 Colts winning but that was pretty close guess from me. Anyways, do you guys think Jacksonville is in trouble of losing their team?

Are Jacksonville Jaguars Franchise in trouble or are they getting enough support from their fans? That team needs to get a lot better because I don't know how dedicated the majority of Jaguar fans are. Will they start losing chunks of fans if they continue to be a pathetic team? Will the team decide to move elsewhere if nothing is done soon about their sucking skills?

At one point, I thought that the Jags might move to L.A., but it looks like that's what may be happening to the Chargers or Raiders. Who knows...

Also, the Bengals couldn't sell out a Home Game against the defending Super Bowl champs. It sucks that this non-supportive shit is starting again...

Had the Jags gotten Tim Tebow, then they probably wouldn't have to worry about putting asses in seats, considering that he's more popular than Elvis in Jacksonville, not that they would do much better in W-L column with Tebow though.

A dismal season with failed expectations will do that for you, but this might have to do with the ownership more so than anything else. It seems like ever since Paul Brown died, the Bengals were given a curse by the football gods, thy name is Mike Brown, and just when we see light at the end of the tunnel, he shovels shit in our face and we start right back at square one.

In other words, even if we are the superior NFL franchise in the state of Ohio, it's simply rings hollow. Same old fucking Bengals.

Is Indy really a playoff team. 6-3 right now can't win the division with Houston on top but right now they are looking solid with Luck surprisingly.

Sports Illustrated has them squeaking into the playoffs according to their Mid-season look at the NFL. I'm thinking it could happen since the Bengals got in with an easy schedule last year. I'm thinking it'll be another one of those instances where the team isn't great, but the right circumstances allow them to get one of the wildcard spots.

I take it that you consider those 7 losses blowouts then. The only games that were an actual blowout was the last time we played in Heinz Field 35-7, and the Wild Card game against Houston. Maybe you should choose your words a little better, lest you reek of butthurt, and I'll leave it at that.

Moving on, is Andrew Luck a shoo-in to win Rookie of the Year? With all due respect with Martin, Luck should win ROY in a landslide, especially if he can lead his team to the playoffs.

What are the Dallas Cowboys reason for being a horrible Football team? Philadelphia Eagles have reasons.?

Eagles have bad offensive line protection and they got rid of Juan Castillo who was a pretty good defensive coordinator. So, what is the reason for the Cowboys sucking ***? Did they make any Coaching changes recently or have a lot of injuries?

It would be no different if I were to say that Luke Fickell was a godawful head coach who had no concept of offense last year and went 6-7, and arguably should've been worse.

My guess is that your definition of the word "spanked" simply means a loss, whereas my {and most others} definition of the word means an serious blowout {i.e. lost by 3 touchdowns or more}

Fact: You lost every game except 1 against teams with a winning record.

Once again, I don't dispute the record, {petty as that might be in the big picture} simply the choice of words. Not like any of this matters to you, but my point still stands.

Alabama lost to the Aggies ... anyone?

Okay, the Futility Bowl. Dallas has a better shot since the Eagle doesn't have any real D and Andy Reid's seat is on fire. He probably will get fired at the end of the season but shouldn't in my view.

Isn't it great that Eagles fans see how much of a fraud Andy Reid truly is? McNabb was never the problem.?

McNabb is the reason the Eagles made the playoffs on a consistent bases with Andy Reid's horrible play calling. The only reason Eagles were good for all those years was thanks to the one player Philly fans blamed the most.

They probably should have seen it long ago when Reid made some of the most mind numbingly draft choices. He sure love some "high-motor" players with limited talents.

This includes a lineman almost the same age as Weeden on first round.

So, today we've had the Super Bowl Champions lose to a team that was 3-5 and blacked out in its home market, a tie, and the fall of the last undefeated team.

Pretty impressive day for the NFL.

I can't say I'm surprised, we came away with some lucky wins (a slugfest, a hail mary, and by a finger), and that defensive TD last week was the last mirage to remind us that it is November, and this is lame duck season.

We can only be so blessed to be in such a shit division hahah

gonna need that bye week

So the Giants lost two games in a row and now it's a lame duck season? While I'm also frustrated at how the Giants have been playing but as I recall, last year they dropped 4 straight, leading their record to fall to 6-6. Oh yeah I remember, afterward the Giants went to lose rest of the games and missed the playoffs...or do they?

You have to wait until the season plays out, if one can survive as a fan during the 2003 season, you should be able to take this.

Is this how you expected the Texans/Bears game to go, I'm expecting Chicago to win the Super Bowl still?

They needed this loss, they needed a reality check to fix the minor problems on their team. They will bounce back and win the NFC Title as well as winning Lombardi's Trophy.

Not what I would describe as surprising, Vick is a glass cannon who suddenly couldn't take a hit after his prison stint for some reason and Cutler's o-line is equvilent of a cutlet. If it weren't for the Bears' defense, who know what might happen to them this season.

Then again, losing Cutler last year killed the Bears season so that tells you something.

I wouldn't be surprised, after Nicks returned the passing game became like this. Also the running game became almost useless so that's another factor.

Which 3 win teams have the best chance at bouncing back and making a run for the playoffs?

Jets, Bills, Raiders, Eagles, Redskins, or Rams. If I had to choose, I would say my Eagles because I think they have talent on the offense but just need to put it together more often. Their defense was good before they cut Juan Castillo. I still don't understand why they cut Juan Castillo. But honestly I think neither of these teams are bouncing back, I think they're confidence has been completely shot. Who knows tho...

Jets, Bills and Raiders are frauds, as they usually are, Eagles can't seem to win with the talent they have, and the Redskins have no defense and have an overrated rookie QB. By process of elimination, the Rams have the best chance of making the playoffs, too bad that they play in the NFC West, where the Niners will win that division, and the Seahawks will get a wild card spot.

Considering their putrid history as of late, an 8-8 or even a 7-9 season for the Rams is pretty good.
