If you ever make a Top 1500 list, please make sure you put me on it my voting power currently is 5.10 but I did not deposit or get any b/p points for almost 3 years. I probably will stop depositing after I get to 1,000 exp. I might get more exp. when the next secret taunts me again.
No one in this thread will ever make a top 1500 list, trust me. And as two others have said, you wouldn't be on it anyway.
Why on earth would you want to stop depositing after 1000 exp?
:::shrugs and continues to deposit for his three accounts with 10,850 exp, 7,790 exp, and 5,530 exp:::

5.00
I was about to congratulate you for getting to 5.00 before hitting level 9... and then I checked your profile and noticed you were at 3.60 VP. Why the lies, man? WHY THE LIES?!? #;-}>

i doubt that there will be a 1500 list. and it's even more unlikely that with 5.10 you will make that list. you both are ranked civilian and nowhere near the top 1500 exp. so what makes you think you would be on a top 1500 VP-list.
a top 15000 is more likely
More likely to have him on it than a top 1500 would be, you mean. Not more likely for the list itself to ever be MADE, since that one's even LESS likely to be created. #;-}>

Put it this way these are your stats:
Experience: Ranked # 17,211 out of 839,849 users!
Blam/Protect: Ranked # 30,964 out of 839,849 users!
With those rankings there is no way your even in the top 15,000 vp, hell I almost have a full point more than you and I doubt im even in the top 15,000vp
Well, your VP rank is generally in between your exp rank and your b/p rank. So yeah, he's not in the top 15,000 even.
But you?
Experience: Ranked # 18,888 out of 839,849 users!
Blam/Protect: Ranked # 640 out of 839,849 users!
Voting Power: 6.11 votes
Rank: Elite Guard Sergeant
Dude, in base VP (VP just from exp alone), you're #18,888. You have high enough b/p to be ranked #640 and have a big bonus from your Elite Guard Sergeant rank. As a result of all of those factors, I would say you are GUARANTEED to be in the top 15,000, actually.
Now, top 10,000? I'm not so sure of that. Either way, you were being overly modest on purpose, now weren't ya. #;-}>

But in the end you still get the same amount of VP right? I'm pretty sure you do, but I wanna make sure it doesn't make a difference if you wait or just rank up first. Do you still get the same amount of VP?
Same amount of VP in the end? Yes. Same amount of VP per rankup? No.
gfoxcook: ranked up mostly between levels 11 and 14. At those low levels, my exp was low enough that my VP from exp was so low that the 2% bonus I kept adding to my VP from the rankup was only adding 0.11 or 0.12 to my total VP on each rank up. Thus, I never got as big a boost from my rankups as people who rankup in the level 20-25 range, for example (they can get like 0.18 or more, due to their huge base VP amounts).
gfoxclock: will be ranking up between levels 16 and... ??? (20, maybe?). As a result, I already gained TONS MORE BASE VP from experience with this account. My exp on gfoxcook when I hit EGSC on March 3rd, 2004... was 5,030... My exp on gfoxclock when I hit SAFETY PATROL (for a 2% bonus as opposed to total 60% bonus) yesterday, October 7th, 2005... was 7,780. And again, level 15 versus level 16.
The point is, whether you earn more VP from b/p first (by ranking up a ton while you're still level 10 and getting mini-VP boosts due to your low exp), or you earn more VP from exp first (by leveling up past level 20, say, and then FINALLY starting to b/p, as some old 1999/2000 users COULD do, if they really wanted)... either way: as long as you are depositing every single day, and as long as you end up at the same b/p rank either way, you will end up at the same VP. It's just a different path.
Simplest analogy possible:
Getting the exp first and THEN the b/p is like climbing up a steep mountain very slowly for a long long time and then suddenly getting to take a helicopter to the top of a mountain next door that is twice as tall.
Getting the b/p first and THEN the exp is like spurting up a slope with a motorcycle that keeps stopping and having to be fixed for a long while and then it totally breaks down and you have to walk up the rest of the way, but you have a bit of a boost further up the mountainside once you've hit EGSC and finished the rankups.
Capisce? I hope so. #;-}>
