Daily2oons pass because they are daily2oons or because they are high quality. On a day with tons of daily2oons tributes, I predict there will be plenty passing but also some getting blammed. Just like on ClockDay. i doubt that there will be a 1500 list. and it's even more unlikely that with 5.10 you will make that list. you both are ranked civilian and nowhere near the top 1500 exp. so what makes you think you would be on a top 1500 VP-list.

I actually just posted that because I saw this forum has not been typed in for a couple of days. I will too get on the top 15,000 VP list. I am more active than some users and once I get 51 blams and 50 saves I will stop depositing again, after I get 1,000 exp of course. I may be a Level 9, Civilian but I am older and just be on the list before that other guy with a voting power of 3.13 or something like that, that said 5.00.

Same amount of VP in the end? Yes. Same amount of VP per rankup? No.

gfoxcook: ranked up mostly between levels 11 and 14. At those low levels, my exp was low enough that my VP from exp was so low that the 2% bonus I kept adding to my VP from the rankup was only adding 0.11 or 0.12 to my total VP on each rank up. Thus, I never got as big a boost from my rankups as people who rankup in the level 20-25 range, for example (they can get like 0.18 or more, due to their huge base VP amounts).

gfoxclock: will be ranking up between levels 16 and... ??? (20, maybe?). As a result, I already gained TONS MORE BASE VP from experience with this account. My exp on gfoxcook when I hit EGSC on March 3rd, 2004... was 5,030... My exp on gfoxclock when I hit SAFETY PATROL (for a 2% bonus as opposed to total 60% bonus) yesterday, October 7th, 2005... was 7,780. And again, level 15 versus level 16.

The point is, whether you earn more VP from b/p first (by ranking up a ton while you're still level 10 and getting mini-VP boosts due to your low exp), or you earn more VP from exp first (by leveling up past level 20, say, and then FINALLY starting to b/p, as some old 1999/2000 users COULD do, if they really wanted)... either way: as long as you are depositing every single day, and as long as you end up at the same b/p rank either way, you will end up at the same VP. It's just a different path.

Simplest analogy possible:

Getting the exp first and THEN the b/p is like climbing up a steep mountain very slowly for a long long time and then suddenly getting to take a helicopter to the top of a mountain next door that is twice as tall.

Getting the b/p first and THEN the exp is like spurting up a slope with a motorcycle that keeps stopping and having to be fixed for a long while and then it totally breaks down and you have to walk up the rest of the way, but you have a bit of a boost further up the mountainside once you've hit EGSC and finished the rankups.

You know, we've all already seen your stats. We were talking about them, you know. O_o

You wouldn't need a top 30,500 or a top 30,000 VP list to be on it.

A top 25,000 list would do just fine. Didn't you read the stuff I just said in a post maybe two or three above your posts.... about how the VP rank of a person is somewhere in between their exp rank and their b/p rank, and that exp rank is the important starting point? Your exp rank is 16,997... there are some people you're behind in b/p and some people you're ahead of in b/p, and the difference in your bonus % to VP from your different b/p ranks is what raises/lowers your VP rank and differentiates it from your exp rank.

Here's an example:

My exp rank = 109
My b/p rank = 3

My VP rank = 15

See how it's in between like that? Well, you've got the same thing. A VP smack-dab in the middle between your two profile ranks, most likely. Certainly nowhere near as low as your b/p rank but also nowhere near as high as your exp rank. Somewhere in the middle.

Pimp is only level 30 because he's been depositing earlier in the day than humantarget does lately.

humantarget is 10 exp ahead of Pimp and has been for awhile now (since he slipped from 20 ahead of him... and before that, many months ago, from 30 ahead of him).

1) If it looks like ht is 20 exp ahead, that just means Pimp hasn't deposited yet but ht has.

2) If it looks like Pimp has tied ht at the same exp, that just means ht hasn't deposited yet but Pimp has.

3) If they're still 10 apart like they, in actuality, are (at the end of the day, when it counts), then they either both haven't deposited or both HAVE deposited. Clear? #;-}>

Basically because the b/p rank isn't really a good basis since it isn't dynamic and is instead static. And because gfoxcook was just giving a rough estimate. By the time I end up deciding to get Nemesism66 up to EGSC he'll probably have around 14.80+ VP. So it'll be an awesome increase then, but for now don't worry.
