Yeah, anyone jumping over the 13.00 mark who isn't quite EGSC yet is obviously a threat to you, but you have indeed enjoyed the #2 spot for a veeeeery long time, and you won't be dropping far, that's for sure. My dad's parents lived in Victoria for a couple decades. Just before dad's dad died, they'd moved to Cuero (just a bit north of there)... so... when I said I was leaving town to go visit my grandmother, I meant, in more detail, that I was going to be driving down US 59 most of the way to Victoria before turning off on some side roads to get to Cuero.

And so I did, and so I witnessed many inches of snow. Maybe not the full 10-12 inches that fell on Friday the 24th, but QUITE a bit was left on the freeway and alongside it for Christmas, as my gf and I cruised down the slick pavement. I lost track of the number of SUVs pulled over with families having snowball fights or sledding down enbankments from overpasses. Heh... it was quite fun to see, but not quite as nice as having the snow itself fall on me (so I got a bit of that on Friday and then a ton of it on the ground on Saturday... best of both worlds, I suppose!).

So you've family in the Victoria area too, eh wot? My mom's family is mostly in the Hempstead/Prarie View/Chapel Hill area, my dad's family is mostly in the Cuero-to-Austin area.

Gfox loves snow. He loves just about everything about it, save for driving on it, perhaps... so anywho, living in coastal Texas presents a bit of a roadblock to seeing snow most winters... however, in the winter of '04-'05, Gfox found that he got to experience some snow on both Christmas Eve AND Christmas Day! Yes, Virginia... it seems that for once, Gfox didn't encounter a lack-of-Snow Problem this year.

By 0.02 this past update. And by 0.01 the time before. And 0.01 and 0.00 and 0.01 or something like that the previous updates. It's not going up THAT fast. Relax! Just get as many b/p as you can per week... and make sure to deposit all 7 days of each week... and you WILL make it here before you know it.

oh yea.. that's right. But JmBd has been missing some deposits here and there... he might get passed by others in experience. If he ever did plan on getting closer to me in Voting Power then it would take him probably over a year to get that high in the EG ranks. I think JmbD only has about 2,000 bp... maybe less.. not sure.

Regarding innphernoe: He gained +0.19 with that rankup... yet he only managed to hop 0.01 over your head. You'll pass him in a matter of days... oh wait, no... you've ALREADY PASSED HIM. #;-}> And he's said elsewhere that he's not getting b/p very fast (as evidenced by the fact that it's been like half a year since he last ranked up). In short: he won't be ranking up again, you were back ahead of him before December even ended, and all is well--for you--with regard to him. Recommendation: Relax and let the exp depositing continue doing its magical work.

Regarding Stormwarden: When was the last time he ranked up? I can't recall. That said, 200 b/p away from the next one... so yeah... you have a right to be worried... the REAL problem here is that he's only 0.01 behind you. Even if he hits this rankup and then stops getting b/p for several months... it's going to be quite hard for you to catch up to him on exp depositing alone, unlike the situation with innphernoe. Recommendation: pray for Stormwarden to pull a poxpower and stop getting b/p altogether.

Overall situation? Fine. You've passed innphernoe back already and even once you've been passed by Stormwarden... you're set at #12 for awhile. Not a bad ranking to be at. Certainly better than the #19 I'm stuck at. #;-}>

2 spots on the top 50 exp can mean a lot more exp difference than 2 spots in the 400-500 range, but yeah... you had a good point and you still do. I just hope Bedn doesn't end up seeing things your way anytime soon. At least, not to the "getting to Yoink's VP range" extent. Reaching 10.00 would be a good move. :::nods:::

There was a time when Tanner was missing deposits and Bedn passed him and Bedn wasn't missing ANY exp... and Tanner thought Bedn found a way to doubledeposit or something, but he was just getting confused by Bedn depositing before AND after the top 50 list update time. Anyway, point is... that wasn't that long ago, back when Tanner and Bedn were both near the bottom of the top 50... and around that time, Bedn just plain didn't miss deposits. :::shrugs:::

Here ends page 76. I don't feel like splitting the list update between two pages for reasons that should be evident.
