Thanks, I already knew that; but I had forgotten about the medal since it was broken for me when it first came out. Don't know why everybody else is so retarded; they act like it's a good thing that they've read all of the 362 pages in this tread...

I've been gone for a while thanks to school, and I come back to see a few games added . . . well, I checked up every once in a while, but yeah. I don't get why so many people were happy with a score of 1337, and I'm surprised none of them noticed that they were probably getting a higher score than that. I think the ONLY reason why you need a walkthrough is to not copy my dumbass self and try to hit every single bomb on the way down. xD I was thinking, "I hit all the clouds, now I hit all the bombs? Okay" Still, that game was really short . . . the only game that probably has an easier medal would be Tiananmen Square, since the medal only requires you to beat wave 1. "God Damn it's a Nice Fucking Day Today" is considered a movie when you check its info. I'm sorry for complaining, but should the medals for Communist Space really be worth so much?

Has anyone gotten the master tactician medal on d-day defender recently?

I've played through it twice scoring over 250 hours (for the first time btw! w00t)
and i could have sworn i saw a chain explosion of 4 jeeps and a tank then some soldiers caught fire and exploded... but no medal.

I also remember seeing somewhere someone saying if you play through the game you should achieve that medal multiple times, so I thought it was weird that I played through 2 decently long games (between 250 and 300 hours) and didn't recieve it. Especially since I was looking for (and saw) it happen on the second run through.

I tried with and without pop-up mode

Any ideas?

I went back to that game and I wanted to play for the fun of it. After getting satisfied that I had gone farther than I usually go, I attempted to go for the 127 death medal again. The first time I tried (back when the game came out), the medal popped up, but I didn't receive the medal. Now that I've played it again, the medal won't pop up.

My question is:

Is the medal broken, or do I have to clear my cache for that game?

You probably have to clear your game data. It pops up when you reach 127, and your counter would be higher than that already.

It's not broken, I just achieved all three medals in that game no more than a week ago.

I'd follow chriss suggestion and clear your cache.

One thing I noticed when getting that medal is that the ads do not pop up every 20 deaths. It seems to be random, but always over 10 and never over 20.

Well I'm not exactly sure whats wrong with what you did, but I can confirm it isnt broken. I just got the medal several times while I was playin it just 5 min ago. Are you sure you chained 4 explosions together and not just cause 4 seperate explosions to happen? Thats the only thing I can think of unless the medal just pops up and doesnt register on your account.

I finally, FINALLY, found someone stupider than me. Thank god.. I don't know what's funnier though, the fact that this kid might be mentally retarded, or the fact that his guide is somewhat decent and Wylina actually posted it. Bahaha this kid just made my life.

Ya, I was appalled when I first skimmed through it. But after actually reading it, he does go through some pretty decent tips. I don't really want to discourage guide writing in general so I posted it. Plus, there is not written guide for that game currently. Anyways, I sent him a PM telling him he should work on his writing style and speeliling.

Well yesterday he tried starting a thread for arcade games walkthrough and I let him know that you already had an extensive list of walkthroughs, but he was more than welcome to write his own and compile them on his own news post, but unless its a medal game it won't garner much attention.

If you're looking at Hover Bot arena 2 or FUI2 that's normal.

If you're using the classic view, they made it so the medals don't show up anymore.

Sometimes it takes a little while for the medals to show up, I used to have like a 3-4 second delay before they appeared.

I have the chain 4 explosions achievement in-game but not the medal. That seems not right.

Cool, just beat it as bob and dan. Now all I need to do is beat it with all characters, and get the creditz secret medal. I can't figure that one out.
