Reviews for "Incubus Pulsum"

Nice.

Ooo, I gotta put this one down. It's too addictive. But I suspect I'll be back...

Oh, and nice rendition of Bionic Commando's music.

one of the best games

awesome job on making this game. i love it. im currently on insane, and wow it is insane. good game, keep on making more of these. =)

Genius

This game is simply brilliant. It's very, very difficult (currently stuck at Hard), but I really think you should win the Rock Out contest, you've got my vote! =)

this is awesome

i found your game really fun. i saw some of the other reviews and im assuming they just couldnt get the gameplay down. im stuck at medium but when i get home i'm definitely finishing it. good job. seriously it is very unique and entertaining

Good but Rhythm needs work

The idea behind this game was awesome, and I honestly think the difficulty is what makes it so sick. But the biggest problem I had was the rhythm and timing of the characters.

The music and when you are supposed to hit the mallets matched well on easy and okay on medium, but once you get to hard the timing of the monsters and the music is just way to off. I was hitting the Aim button in time with the music, but the creatures would either be slightly to fast or slightly to slow. I think the game would actually be way easier just if the syncopation was better. Then I wouldn't have to worry as much about where the creatures were and could focus more on which arrow button I'm mashing >.<

I suggest you both fix the syncopation and give people the option of changing controls to make it more comfortable. I know it's supposed to be difficult, but the chords with up and down arrows at the same time are just brutal.

All this game needs is some better timing and maybe a more user-friendly easy mode and it'll blow everything else away. Easily the best rhythm game I've played on newgrounds yet.
