'Twas enjoyable.

Sweet game. Had some trouble loading the game, but my computer is pretty crappy when it comes to the interwebz.

-Anyways, the graphics didn't seem as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I might be less sensitive to bright, flashing lights (and more sensitive to real light, like the sun), but the lights are really more of a distraction from getting the green sparks, and hitting a red one. Fairly simple, but everyone complains either way. Maybe an off option would help, but maybe a separate high-score list to compensate for no distracting light?

-Sweet menu loop, had a nice groove to it.

-The music sounds great too :D

-Great job, keep it up!!!

It was okay

It was fun (getting top score was cool), but some of those effects hurt the eyes..a lot. You weren't kidding about the siezure warning with that strobe effect o_O;

Good, but not great. It's not a rhythm game

Front page called it a "rhythm game," but it was really more like a mouse game. Just poppin' bubbles with a distracting background. Stylish, but it wasn't that fun to play.

I wish i could play.

I just couldnt stand through a long period of playing this game. My eyes almost melted out of my damn sockets. Good, I guess.

Beautiful Graphics for a rhythm game =)

I thoroughly enjoyed how the game was presented and how the background was synced with AS3, great job on that. Uploading songs was also really sweet, never seen somthing like it before =)

The graphix were amazing but unfortuneatly where the game lacked was gameplay. I like how you went for a sort of original gameplay which involved the mouse but unfotuneatly it was hard to see how the little symbols synced to the music, if at all...

So overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Made me laugh at how blind i was after the strobe effect. Next time try to make the user feel more connected to the game music-wise, since even though the background was synced, the other objects didnt seem to be (if they are my apologies) and the user spends most of their time looking at that.

Lastly, thank you for your advise on removing filters in my own game.

Outstanding job, hope you make the top 10,
Peace,
Coolio-N

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

thanks for the advise. It's REALLY hard to have stuff synched up with the music as flash gives it in a crappy form, so this is probably what you'll see of AS3 games. Anyway I'm making a 2nd AS2 based game with hand designed levels so it should be a lot better than this experimental game.
