Reviews for "Amorphous"

death to the slime

that was a fun game and i don't really like those stupid slimes anyway so to be able to just hack them up like that was really fun. MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Great game

Some sort of story/campaign mode would be interesting, with the ability to buy upgrades for you bloke, better swords, armour that has a % chance of seeing off a biter perhaps, stuff like that.

I really liked the way all the glooples had an in depth piece of writing about them, i didn't read most of them but it's nice to know the effort is there.

An all round good game, build on the simple and addictive game play with some sort of way to advance or complete the game and it'll push it from 8 or 9 out of 10 to 10 out of 10.

innocuousGames responds:

Thanks, the little descriptive blurbs were fun to write, since I did them after-the-fact and I had to come up with some quasi-scientific reasons for the gameplay. Glad you liked them.

So addicting

Ha, that was so addicting, i felt like i HAD to keep going, good job, i enjoyed it alot

Immunology meets a giant sword.

Well this was a interesting game, an army of killer blobs, an giant sword and ..... jazz music. I like the novelty but a wider selection of music would definitely make it better.

The real quality of this game and the main purpose of this review is the diversity and character of the blobs. I'm REALLY impressed with how the blobs interact with each other to either make it more difficult or easier for you. I spent hours just fiddling with the different combinations of blobs there's nothing like running like hell from the fuzzies, biters all the while luring them to pools of acid, dodging purple bullets and fending off a queen only have it crushed under a rampaging grinder.

A few suggestions:
1) Stages, it takes a while to really see the upper level monsters and having to constantly restart and play with the green blobs is pretty tedious.
2) Practice mode would be much more useful if you could practice with monsters that you have seen but not killed. It took me a while to not only get a dark void blob, but to figure out how to kill it consistently. I still haven't figured out how to kill a queen without a grinder.
3) Mentioned before, but upgrades, shops would make this a 10.

All in all, a great and novel game. I wouldn't be surprised if you got some inspiration from Immunology.

Also is there a way to get the blob in the preloader?

What?

Cheden, Amorphous+ is a sequel to this. Hence the +, as in Plus, as in, has more stuff. This was made earlier. What you just did is like someone playing Mario 3, then mario 1 and giving it a 2/10, BECAUSE THEY TOOK OUT MOST OF THE POWERUPS LIKE RACOON TAIL!?!?!?!?!
Except that its not that, because you're complaining of most of the gloops being taken out. Which, as far as I see, they weren't. 17 species of gloop in both, with all the extra awards, unlockables, nest sizes, hardcore mode and the hidden 18th species, the razor queen. So, just what the heck are you talking about?

Yeah. You're unlikely to read this, but I seriously have trouble working out what you're trying to say, since either way round, its not true.
