as simple as this game is, its surprisingly good. its fun & the enemy design is well done & complex. overall, its an interesting & fun game.
Quite nice... I like the gameplay.
Although there are some things that can be improved upon. 1st, the music. It is somewhat inappropriate. 2nd, if possible to add a storyline or upgrades, that should give it more color. 3rd. What's the last monster, it's hard to fight the high level monster (fire, ice, horror, anagram, etc) all at the same time. Needless to say, I died the moment they came into play.
All that I have left to kill is the frosty and the last one of which I haven't seen yet.

I agree the music is a little different. I chose it because of it's sort of techno-jazzy sound that was both interesting but easy to listen to. Some of the songs are kind of gentle and don't go that well with the action, but I liked them so much I just couldn't leave them out.
I was going for a very Arcade feel for the game on the whole, so I went for something you could play a little bit, get the idea, and move on if you wanted to, but added in some really tough stuff for the people that stuck with it and played with it for a good while. The high level enemies are tough (very tough in some cases) and not always easy to expose. The best way to see the rarer stuff is to play a Bounty Run with the game length set to Short - this will bring everything out pretty fast. If you last long enough (and get lucky) you'll probably see everything. Some of the critters take some experimenting to figure out how to defeat.
And for anyone spending some significant time with the game, even when you think you've seen everything, you probably haven't.

that was a pretty nice game. this one had a nice concept to it, nice medievel theme to it, nice graphics and gameplay, cool audio, nice entertainment and a cool challenge, it served as a nice time killer and your efforts were quite good.
Playing this after Amorphous+ is like having a nice steak for one meal, then a big mac the next meal. not necessarily bad... but Amorphous+ is better in most areas than this one. Not surprising, since that's a remake of this one.
