I wont bother going into how brilliant this game is, but it NEEDS a pause button.

I absolutely love this game. Brilliant concept, well put together.
i know a couple of people have done this before, but here is a *complete* run through of how to kill each enemy.
Gloople (green blob) - just smack it
Stickie (yellow blob) - same, but avoid its sticky contents
Biter (blue blob) - dodge its lunge and attack it
Inkie (black blob) - dont let it touch you, itll make the screen go black for a second or two, by which time you'll probably have been killed by something. try not to step in its goo either. just smack it
Clutter (purple blob) - fires little clones at you. dont let them hit you if you can help it, they slow you down. chase it down and kill it and the little purple dots it produces as it dies
Sharp (light blue spikey blob) - either bat it out of the play area (kinda hard) or get behind it, wait for it to retract its spikes, then hit it
Meltie (orange blob) - dont let it touch you, itll burst and kill you. smack it from a distance, but avoid its contents as they are acidic and kill most things that step into it (including you). the acid can be used as a wepon of sorts against other enemies
Fuzzle (hairy brown thing) - kill it as soon as possible, they lunge faster and more accurately than biters. takes 3 hits to kill
Grinder (big grey rock) - they kill you if you touch them. usually best to just lure it out of the play area. if you really want to kill one, either make 2 crash into each other, make it hit a meltie, or make it hit a torchie. this breaks its rock shell and makes it vulnerable, still takes 5 hits to kill after that. quite useful as most things get squashed by them, so try and lure it towards a troublesome enemy.
Torchie (light brown blob covered in flames) - dont let them touch you. they set you on fire, although you can put yourself out by hitting a frostie or a stickie its kinda hard as you cant really control your movements. dont hit it either, itll explode and kill you. try and lure it out of the play area, or wait till its fire goes out (takes a few seconds), then hit it. dont let it touch an inkie or a oozle, or they explode. but make it hit a fuzzle and the fuzzle looses its fur and only takes 1 hit to kill.
Frostie (fast, light blue blob) - freezes anything it comes into contact with. hard to dodge too, best thing is to hit it, get frozen, then move your mouse up and down to break the ice covering you.
Oozle (big green blob, forms from 2 glooples) - will swallow you if you touch it. run behind it and attack it 3 times
-These next few are the really hard ones-
Grey (grey blob, oozle + gloople) - swallows you if you touch it, can attack with a spike and is normally immune to attacks. wait for it to extend its spike, dodge it, and attack the core. takes 3 hits to kill. if you can, try and get a grinder to hit it, or a torchie (or frostie) to explode near it
Horror (big blue toothy thing) - very fast, very manoeuvrable, very dangerous. will kill you if you touch it, fires teeth at you that kill you and convert other glooples into biters. cant be harmed until it releases 4 disks at you, dodge these and kill the small blue core. only 1 hit needed.
Amalgram (big pale yellow blob) - cant be lured out of the play area. like a oozle but takes 5 hits to kill and can absorb other glooples to grow. try and get a grinder or a horror to hit it
Void eater (purple star, Grey + gloople) - quite slow but very dangerous. produces shock waves that kill anything around it, fires a beam that sucks things in and burns them. either try and get a horror or a grinder to hit it (almost impossible), or wait till its charging its beam attack and kill it quick. 1 hit to kill.
Queen - very rare, almost impossible to kill. run away from it, and just when it lunges at you and exposes its body, turn and slice at it. very precise timing required, if you get it wrong you'll hit its arms and wont be able to recover before it kills you. more a 'click and hope' kind of tactic. alternatively, make a grinder or a horror hit it, or lure it into the beam of a void eater.

Definitely a great game.
Great oldschool game. One of the few games, in fact, that are whole. You can't add anything to it or remove anything from it without making it worse. Every gloople, even the seemingly unbeatable Queen, can be defeated, bigger and meaner ones offering more of a challenge.
The graphics, sound, music and text all fit together nicely in a good style.
I don't have much more to say, really. And a well-deserved 5 goes to the author.
