Reviews for "Endless Zombie Rampage"

Repetitive.

Reading all the hype about the game, thought it wouldve been abit more interesting.
True, the blood splurting is funny as hell, but the game is VERY repetitive.
Not bad though.

Mehh...

Ok, great, so you totally ripped off "the last stand" and "rotting onslaught". Nice combo, but no, innovation is far. Try to make your own game, it was alright, but it could've been so much more. Daily feature, alright, fair, but please, evolve on sound and graphics...

Has problems.

The game has a really good premise and set-up, but too many problems to really make it good.
To list, here's a few things I would change that I think would make your game great.
Autoreload: Get rid of it. This is a huge detriment to the game. There's no point in having a back-up weapon if the game reloads for you and forces you to sit through all eight seconds it takes to reload a shotgun. Instead, you should be able to switch to your other weapons when one runs out, and then reload all of them when there's a lull in the attacks.
Weapon Prices: They're unrealistically high compared to the amount of experience you gain per kill. I managed to figure out a way to get some good weapons by buying really judiciously, but the prices of the better guns should be brought down.
Zombie life expectancy: Some of the zombies just take too long to kill. Five shots with a piston I'm okay with. Five shots with an autoshotgun is a bit much. Either take the zombies down a bit, or perhaps give the guns a bit more power.
Saving function: It's a nice idea, but it doesn't work right. The numbers saved works, I came back in with the right experience and level, but I only kept the gun that I last used when I quit. I lost everything else.

I know it seems like a lot, but I think if you make these changes you'll have a great game.

Overall, a well made Zombie shooter

But little more than that. Of course, I didnt really expect anything more than that, so it didnt have any effect on my score. My biggest problem was the aiming system, which, I thought was maybe just because of my guns, but after testing almost every gun in the game, I found it to be rather universal. To me, if you are aiming at a spot directly behind a zombie, you should still hit the zombie. However, 80% of the time, the bullets/etc. wouldnt even register, and this is from maybe 5-10ft away. And from a distance, a gun may be dead-on accurate if you have the reticle on the zombie, but move it just barely behind them, in a straight line, and the bullets seem to magically stray in all different directions. This game also suffers from the very common hard at first, way to easy later on trend. As early on, upgrading is nearly impossible due to the insane damage the zombies are capable of dealing to your base. But later, even a massive horde of them can rarely seem to get even 1/2 way to it. I also found the blood effects, to actually hinder gameplay rather than add "coolness" to it. As it eventually gets to the point that its hard to see zombies (Imagine if your colorblind!) and there were times, I'd reload my game, just to find things much more easy. Which in my mind, is a way of abusing the game's system.

However, like I said, I did like this game. It was fun, and it was pointless zombie mayhem. The graphics were simple, yet worked perfectly. The sound, while not amazing, had the nice gooshy explosions. And the gun and upgrade selections were very wide, and added a nice touch. It was just the stated problems above, namely the aiming one, that kept this game from being a lot better than it could have been in my mind. For now, I still prefer "The Last Stand" over this, but if you maybe improved the aiming a bit, in a new version or sequel, this game would be scores better.

But still, one of the best zombie games, and I liked it a lot.

The game was fun, if somewhat unoriginal.

I enjoyed the game, despite its lack of originality, because I enjoy playing zombie games.
