Reviews for "The Last Stand."

A very smooth game.

Some nicely implemented ideas with survivors and allocating time to do those different tasks.

My only gripe is the low, low difficulty this game seemed to have, I don't think I ever saw the wall go below 80% once. Sure, I could make it harder for myself by going pistol only or something, but..

Other than that, it's good fun while it lasts, with nice visuals and enough OOMPH on the weapons to keep it interesting.

Give this man a pat on the back!!

This should be a console game it is that good.

Graphics. Surpurb very good my man.

Style. Very good just the reload is kidda of naff but still great game.

Sound. Here them zombie moan. :D

Violence. What more do you want a zombie witha sharp plank of wood therw its head.

Interactivity. Very nice way to make a defence game but i thought you could make it better by looking for food. And maybe sleeping

Humor. Nothin better pulling 2 head shots at once with the bolt action rifle.

Overall. Probs may fave flash game and the other thing you get in to the zombie not like zombie horde 3 when they wield shotguns.
hehe well i am off to clean my chainsaw. :D

Splitting heads!

Woohoo! Incredibly nice game with awesome graphics which I had to put on low-quality but still looked freaking good.
Good mixture of approaching zombies and a shitload of weapons (and I did not even discover all of them after playing it).
The reloading sequences are kinda shitty for the gameplay as you may shoot (wasting ammo, but not harm anything I guess) while reloading.
It's not a very hard game but this doesnt keep you from playing it again and trying other opportunities in the "daylight time"
Might have been a bit more macabre...
But hell, this cannot be your first flash game, dude! Possibly the best defense-game ever ... at least its among the Top5 of all time for sure.
Hopefully we will see more from this guy. And once again a "woohoo"!

Perfectly Balanced

The people moaning that this game is too easy are idiots. It's not supposed to be some sort of epic adventure, it's a flash for God's sake. As flashes go this is without a doubt one of the best I have ever played. I don't normally bother with reviews but I felt that The Last Stand deserved one.

The core gameplay is outstanding, this idea is very old but the way it has been presented is novel and entertaining. But it was all the little things that made this game great - the headshots, the way the character reloaded the shotgun, the differing types of zombies, including the reporter and the SWAT teams, the post-its, the diary. It even had special features like the uber-weapon at the end, which was quite frankly hilarious.

The daytime idea too was inspirational, so often you feel that these sort of games have something lacking and apparently this was what it was!

I would love to see this game as a full console/pc rpg, its such a simple idea but at the same time massively good fun and well thought out. You can tell you spent 8 months on it. Time well spent, in my opinion, and for a first flash game. . . my God. Congratulations.

holy smokes, a great zombie game!

the zombies look like zombies, they sound like zombies, they move like zombies, and they die(?) like zombies. killer game. you should think about making a full fledged video game out of this. awesome work! searching for supplies in the daytime makes this very believable, immersive experience. note to players: it's worthwhile to play this just for the clown zombie alone. Romero would be proud.
