Perfectly Balanced
The people moaning that this game is too easy are idiots. It's not supposed to be some sort of epic adventure, it's a flash for God's sake. As flashes go this is without a doubt one of the best I have ever played. I don't normally bother with reviews but I felt that The Last Stand deserved one.
The core gameplay is outstanding, this idea is very old but the way it has been presented is novel and entertaining. But it was all the little things that made this game great - the headshots, the way the character reloaded the shotgun, the differing types of zombies, including the reporter and the SWAT teams, the post-its, the diary. It even had special features like the uber-weapon at the end, which was quite frankly hilarious.
The daytime idea too was inspirational, so often you feel that these sort of games have something lacking and apparently this was what it was!
I would love to see this game as a full console/pc rpg, its such a simple idea but at the same time massively good fun and well thought out. You can tell you spent 8 months on it. Time well spent, in my opinion, and for a first flash game. . . my God. Congratulations.
